My son attended sparkle montessori since he was 18 months old and just recently graduated as he is transitioning to Kindergarten. He made great friends and enjoyed going to school everyday. Ms Prerna, Ms Vatsala, Ms Sree, Ms Anju are all very nice and supportive. They took good care of all the kids in the classroom and playground. Overall a great school that also includes lunch and snacks in the tuition fee. My only recommendation for the school would be to improve on more communication with parents. Only few times we were allowed to go and see what activities children do inside the classroom. read more

My son started attending the toddler program at Sparkle Montessori when he turned 18 months old. He had a lot of changes in his life before then, including moving in and out of different homes, dealing with jet lag, and learning a new language. So it's understandable that he didn't want to go to school and cried a lot entering the school for the first two weeks. However, he quickly adjusted and started to love going to school. He learned how to communicate with his friends and teacher in English, and he even started singing rhymes at home that he learned from his teacher. Even though he doesn't speak in full sentences yet, he tells me about what he does at school and talks a lot about his friends and teachers. He loves to see his class photo. I would like to have more interaction with my son's teacher and more updates on his daily activities. I know that some daycares and toddler programs use communication apps like Tadpoles or WhatsApp to share photos and information with parents. However, Sparkle Montessori only provides a daily report that lists how much my son ate, how many diaper changes he had, and what to bring the next day. They also post photos of the kids on their Facebook page once a week, but they're mostly just one, or two, photo of each kid doing their crafts. I believe that the upper classes have more updates on Facebook. Despite this, my husband and I are quite satisfied with Sparkle Montessori. The director is easy to talk to and responds to emails quickly. We get calls whenever my son has a little injury. The staff at the front gate are always friendly, and I believe the teachers are caring. They provide healthy lunch and snacks, according to a menu that the director sends out at the beginning of each month. We haven't seen any photos of what the kids actually eat, but I think my son is eating well because he's been gaining weight appropriately. Overall, we think Sparkle Montessori was the best choice for our son, given the options available to us at the time. We were a little rushed to enroll him at 18 months, the youngest age of the toddler program, but we're glad we made the decision. read more

After putting off enrolling my 3, almost 4 year-old, in preschool I am so happy to report... I finally did it and I love my son's school! I toured and connected with several preschools in the Fremont area - and it was undeniable that Sparkle Montessori was the one for my son! My two criteria were solid discipline and an engaging curriculum and that is exactly what I found and witnessed when visiting the school. The principal, Nishat, is amazing. She is intelligent, thoughtful, communicative, and excellent at working with children. I could say the exact same about every teacher I was introduced to and continue to interact with every day I drop off and pick up my son. They all know his name and treat him with respect and care even when he is in one of his toddler moods. The pre-k class schedule has a great balance of academics/play/creativity and they provide two snacks and a lunch which is included in the monthly tuition. The school is also nut-free and vegetarian which I appreciate because my son is allergic to some nuts and only eats halal meat. The facility, while not the largest or most grand (like competitor school Learn & Play Montessori), is clean and perfectly equipped for young children of all ages. Do not get fooled by shiny toys or a big playground. How your child is treated, what they learn and the classmates they are surrounded by is most important. While the new Learn and Play Montessori campus is undeniably stunning and closer to my house, I found the staff at Sparkle Montessori to be a better fit for my child's needs. When comparing the children/classes at the various schools, it was clear that the students at Sparkle Montessori were more engaged with their teachers, they were attentive/learning, and they were happy. I spent a lot of time at each preschool. This made me feel at ease because that is the type of environment I wanted my child to be a part of. I also LOVE how my son brings home his assignments at the end of the week so we can review them and admire his masterpieces. Please keep in mind that every family/child's needs are different. Some toddlers would benefit from having socialization, others (like my son) need discipline, and many would thrive academically if they only had a dedicated teacher (which my husband and I, unfortunately and I hate to admit, do not have the time for with full-time jobs). We can supplement his studies though which is just as important. For us, Sparkle Montessori was all of that and more. My son is not just another number at this school. He is treated as an individual, and I cannot wait to see how much he continues to grow here under the leadership of Nishat, InshAllah! My kids, 2.5 and almost 4, love going to school here. When I ask Mr 4 what he likes about school he says "Books and jobs." Sometimes when we're talking about his day he says he loves his teacher. Mr 2.5 can't wait to get in the door in the morning. They both thrive on routine and are proud of the work they do there, coming home with colorful craft projects about once a week. As a parent I also appreciate the focus on routine and responsibilities given to the children. But also that the teachers communicate clearly and effectively anything going on with the kids and anything they need from us, I can tell they really KNOW my boys. For example I might hear Mr 2.5 hardly ate any lunch when he's usually the one to ask for more. They've assisted with potty training proactively. Safety protocol is on point. After going to several different tours for many of the other montessori schools available in Fremont, we decided on Sparkle for several reasons: - they had really efficient processes - the inside of the property was very nicely kept and reminded me of my own elementary school - they have extremely safe practices in terms of drop off/pick up - they offered great advice in helping our toddler transition to the school and environment - the teachers are so sweet, respectful and true professionals - they welcome feedback and happily provide reasons for their rules I could list others but overall, the Director, Ms Nishat, was extremely helpful and knowledgable. My husband and I toured the school and were extremely disappointed. We reached there early at 9ish and the director hadn't arrived yet. It felt very suffocating inside and there was a weird smell too. I asked one of the teachers and she said that's because AC was off and only the director can switch it ON. HOW WEIRD. I also noticed that the bathroom door was open, so probably the smell from there was propagating to the entire closed facility. Another thing I noticed that all the windows in all classrooms were closed. There was absolutely no sun light. It felt like kids were in a jail. I would never send my kid there! read more

My 3.5 year old daughter has been a student for 6 months now (she started right before her third birthday). We sought out a Montessori school because my older daughter and I were both Montessori educated and I really value the life skills that are taught alongside the academics. My daughter was not eating well when she first started and her teachers were very concerned. They worked with me to give her larger portions of the healthy snacks on the days that she didn't eat. They showed a great deal of care for her. I also appreciate the high level of communication from the staff. The monthly newsletter, email updates, and written notices makes navigating preschool as stress free as possible. My daughter really enjoys school and considers her classmates her friends. She tells me all about her teachers and what they learn. I also appreciate the parent conferences where they review a child's progress and areas for improvement. My daughter has thrived in this environment and in true Montessori fashion, she has been moved along to more advanced classes based on her abilities, not her age. We enrolled our daughter at Sparkle Montessori in Mar 2017 based on advise from a friend. We did not research or inquire about other similar facilities nearby. We just enrolled her and 2 years on we are glad we did. The teachers at Sparkle are some of the kindest you'll come across. Teachers in all the classes our daughter has been to (toddler / pre-school / pre-k) have been very adept at handling children at the appropriate ages & stages of development. We are happy with our daughter's development over the past 2 years. The Directors & Admins, Ms. Nishat, Ms. Mugisa & Ms. Ruchi, go the extra mile to take care of requests & address concerns. We have discussed some areas we had concerns about and they have always been open to constructive feedback & resolution. The activities they conduct in school is a hit with our daughter! Sparkle Montessori is the best thing that happened to our family, When we wanted to enroll our son there was a waitlist but Ms Nishat and Ms Mughisa tried to get us in asap. From day 1 the entire management has cooperated for every request we have made, they try their best to satisfy and meet every childs need, and eventually we as parents are really happy seeing our kids thrive in this environment. We as parents are touched by their warm behavior towards the children, our son needed speech related extra attention and care, Ms Prerana went beyond expectations, she has put in soo much effort and hard work, she makes sure the children practice writing, Ms Prerana makes every child finish their worksheet and now my son does it all by himself. My son was shy initially but has gained confidence in such a short time. My 18 month old daughter started with this daycare as soon as she turned 18 months. She was here for about 9 months until we had to move her out due to personal reasons. The transformation I saw in my daughter in this time was incredible. From being a baby at home, she turned so independent so quickly. Sparkle Montessori did an amazing job in developing her personality. Her transition to the daycare went very smooth with care and attention received from Ms.Anju and Ms.Juliet who definitely deserve a special mention. Always very caring and responsive to a child's needs. Any special instructions given to the teachers were always followed. Within a few months, my daughter learned entire ABC, learnt to count till 30, shapes, colors, good manners (saying please, thank you, etc.), animals, rhymes, etc. At the end of each day, I always picked up a happy child to bring back home. That's what meant the most to me. If you are still reading this review and haven't made up your mind, please do make up your mind in positive. My daughter has been going to Sparkle since Jan last year. She was about to be 2. We really love the school. My daughter has really learnt a lot here. Her talking skills, vocab has improved a lot. However, we got a lot of support from Nishat, who made us feel welcome, and understood our concerns. Now, she loves going to school, and has adjusted well. We were new to the place and I was very skeptical but the teachers took good care of all the kids there. surprisingly my daughter started to get along very well. all the teachers are very well qualified with some amazing skills to get along with kids. they have this morning workshop where my daughter learned some amazing life skills. Now my daughter is in kindergarten but whatever she has learned in sparkle has helped her a lot. I wanted to wait before doing my review. My 3 year old son had just completed his 2nd month. This was his first preschool/daycare experience. Prior to that it was between home and grandparents. Transition 5 stars - The teachers were so helpful in transitioning my son. We went through waterworks the first couple of weeks. We chose the 3 day per week program which makes it a little tougher in building a routine. Teacher Nishat also called the first couple of days just to give an update. But we're past that and now my son would ask me to let him stay for a few more minutes so he can play more. He's really enjoying school now. Learning 4 stars - In 2 months my son learned new songs, continents, days/months, planets, and most importantly improved social skills. He's an only child and we wanted him to interact with other kids on a more regular basis outside of the occasional play dates and parties. He now tells new kids who cry in their first weeks to not worry since their mommies are coming. Pricing 5 stars- The pricing is very competitive relative to other schools in the area. Facility - 3 stars - The outdoor play area and play structures are limited compared to other schools I toured. The classrooms are spacious though. read more

They teach the kids to be well behaved as much as possible as well as work them hard in teaching them advanced subjects to get them ready for kindergarten. Our 4yr old looks forward to going to Sparkle Montessori everyday. We moved from NC to Bay area few months back and Sparkle Montessori teachers helped our child settle down in this new place and new school pretty quickly. We have to mention about Miss Pooja, who pays special attention to each child's needs and cares for them as of her own children. I highly recommend Sparkle Montessori to anyone looking for a preschool that is not only educational, but one that actually takes care of your children. My two kids were enrolled here for a while. The location is convenient (close to 880) and their safety/security system is great. The staff here are highly trained with children and very professional, especially Ms. Mona and Ms. Nishant. My children learned a lot while they were here and made many friends. My 4 year old daughter was able to identify our solar system, name them in order, recall their temperatures (Hot or Cold), and other functions of the planets within 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, we had to take them out due to our move to Sunnyvale. Unrolling them was the hardest part of our move, but we will definitely come back here if things don't work out. read more
