And they had the audacity to blame us for ordering the wrong item. The manager actually said it was our word against the girl who did the order. She said it was posted on the wall. Well maybe it is now. But the girl who did the sale went on the computer and told us yes we could get it in brushed nickel. Well I guess they got my $800 and they won't make this right. When we inquired after waiting for three weeks why the light we had ordered from them was taking so long to arrive (we were originally told it would take a week) he told us that it was on back order in a rather curt tone and told us that we should just go to RONA for a light instead and abruptly hung up. When I was checking my missed calls after taking a shower later in the day one of these happened to be from Home Lighting. When I phoned to find out why they had contacted me (thinking that they might have found the light we ordered somewhere else) the same salesman was brought back to the phone only to tell me that he wasn't the person who called this number before cutting me off as well. Although we have purchased lights from this store before, you can rest assured that we will never order another light through this company again.

These guys are amazing…read more We moved into a really old house when we got to cambridge and pretty much every light fixture needed to be replaced. In total, we have purchased 6 fixtures and couldn't be more pleased with them and the service we received from the staff. First we bought a fixture for our kitchen that didn't work well in the space. The shoppe was more than willing to take take it back even though it was opened and they worked with us to find a better piece. The next time we were there we bought s few more fixtures, including a large one fir our dinning room. After a few weeks we noticed that the organza on the shade was pealing off. I was a bit irritated by this but when I called to complain the staff were amazing and ordered me two more! Not only this, they trusted me enough that I didn't even have to bring in the original shade. I've never seen this type of service. I was very impressed, now I refer everyone there :)
