The good: This place is just all-so American and I love it…read more My aunt comes here for the berry pie and buys several of them to bring to me in SoCal. She's a frequent customer and she seldom eats pies. She sometimes freezes them. It's packed with so many berries and has a pure berry taste. It's sweet but still maintains the tartness/acidity of the berries so it helps your ability to eat more of it. My husband finished almost an entire pie in one day. The bad: My aunt said the apple pie is too sweet and therefore prefers the more tart/sour berry pie. I wish I tried the pie with ice cream because that would have been a nice compliment. The interesting: They're family owned and have been around for decades. You can pick fruits here too.

Come to find out that this was the owner of the ranch! My wife, who suffers from stage-4 cancer and has difficulty walking needed to park close to the shop and this was a perfect spot. She was excited to purchase a pie and other treats, but was shocked and disappointed when the extremely rude owner turned us away. We had driven very far to see the ranch and were extremely disappointed. Never coming back and would recommend others not visit because of the discrimination this business owner showed for absolutely no reason.

I knew in advance that on Thursdays (2nd & 4th weeks only), the public street parking in front of the building was off limits for street sweeping/no parking between 7am-11am, so I got very lucky pulling up in front at 11am sharp. Nice. Easy walk. The Foster Museum was very simple, decent, positive, and relaxing environment filled with gorgeous nature views/sketches/watercolor artworks by the U.K. artist, Tony Foster. Good feeling here. Free admissions and good customer service staffs. You can just walk in or register online. There's a tiny gift area not far from the public restrooms. I signed the guestbook at the end of my walk. Good place to hang around/includes unlimited paper, paper/pencils/samples/etc. If you like to sketch and get some creative inspirations, all the nature artworks in the gallery is definitely a good place to start. Not huge, but perfectly quite and calm for art lovers. You can request for an orientation and/or tour as desired. Great first impression during first visit. It's the positive feeling I get from observing the energy and various colorful artworks. Simple and stress-free. Good value/free admissions is totally worth the 1-2 hours here. They also host art classes too, but I will need to take time to browse around online. Good vibes. Staffs are friendly inside. Hidden place. Love it.

In the office you will be greeted by smiling helpers who know just what to do to help you get to your destination.Sign in and you areoff to the classroom or activity you seek! Most of the children here are either monolingual Spanish speaking or bilingual Spanish/Englsh speaking. Many mornings you will see moms pushing strollers with younger siblings of the students who go here. It's a close community and almost everyone knows everyone! I have had the pleasure of observing several students in the classrooms here and can tell you the Special Education staff is awesome at this school. If my child needed specialized instruction I would be so happy to have them attend Ratcliff! Plus...they have excellent after school programs where students get help with homework!! Ratcliff is a school which warms the heart and the Watsonville surrounding neighborhood can be very proud of their children who attend there as well as the teachers who serve their children in their early years in learning! Ask any student who goes there....they'll tell you, Ratcliff rocks!!
