It was such a beautiful night, my parents and I came and we each got our own pizza. Pizza came out in maybe 15 minutes, we sat and waited and just chilled. It was a beautiful night. I am so appreciative that Windy Brow has a vegan cheese option, so I could be included! I got the Margherita pizza and subbed vegan cheese. The crust and dough were incredible - so fluffy, perfectly crispy, amazing thick crust. The vegan cheese was also great, and the sauce too. Just a perfect pizza. My dad got a regular Margherita and loved it, and my mom got the fungi pizza with mushrooms and was raving about it. My boyfriend got the pig and fig and (of course) loved it as well. We all raved to each other about how amazing everything was. For a farm to do something like this when they don't need to, shows that they love what they do! You can really feel the love in the pizza. We then got ice cream after since the ice cream stand was still open. I got the vegan dark chocolate sea salt (literally incredible, perfect consistency, I love hard ice cream so this was amazing), my boyfriend got Madagascar vanilla and said it was a perfect classic vanilla, my dad said the cherry vanilla was the best he's ever had, and my mom who doesn't love ice cream got the lemon blueberry butter cake and was raving about it. Phenomenal job!!!!! So appreciative to live near a spot like this. Blessings!

One thing I will say is my little guy is an ice cream loving toddler (as they tend to be) and he had one bite of the ice creams and passed. We were both pretty shocked. Even after several tries, he was not interested... The bakery/store was cute, but not much left. Prices were also a bit steep - $6 for a tony croissant. Perhaps earlier in the morning when they might've been fresher, I would've considered it more, but it looked like it had been sitting. The girl at the register was very nice though. We had originally wanted to come to try the pizza, but when we arrived around 5pm on a Sunday, it was an hour and a half wait even if we wanted the pizza to go. The guy over there was really nice and apologetic even though he didn't need to be. Hopefully we can try it at some point if we're ever nearby again. additional note - there are only 2 port-a-pottys for restroom needs.

We have one major complaint and it's the same as last time: the ice cream is so melty! Because the inside doesn't have A/C, the cases aren't very cold, so about two minutes into eating your treat, it's quite melted. We wish they would find a solution to this problem! Good prices on almost everything in here and the employees are pretty cool.   This is exactly what this part of town needs so I'm hoping it's all going to work out for this place. It's as much a convenience store as it is a Farmer's Market. There are alot of locals who travel on foot and don't want to walk all the way to the larger Grocery Stores.   As I said it's new so I don't want to get too picky but some of this produce is a little past it's freshness point of usage. I do attribute that to the fact that not enough people know about this Market yet. But we'll see, I'll definitely be returning here from time to time, especially for the Fresh Cuban Bread and Avocados.

We spent Labor Day at Tranquillity Farms! They had a special LDW event where you could pick…read morewildflowers and stuff your Stanley for $14.95. Weather was perfect and so we did! There was no signage about it so when we arrived we went inside the market to ask. They gave us a pair of scissors to use and let us know that sunflowers were $1 more per stem. (This was a great deal! I've been to other farms that charge more.) We walked through as cut as many flowers that we could fit. The farm wasn't too busy so it was enjoyable. After flower picking we got ice cream from their ice cream window (this was the pricey side) and sat at a picnic table watching the goats. Tranquillity Farms was a short ride up 80 West. They have plenty of parking, fresh produce and other goods in the market, and a jungle gym for the kids. I couldn't find a bathroom - only saw portajohns. They've started their apple picking season so I plan to return soon!

I love picking out some new Polish candies and sweets to try along with the Polish sausages, Asian produce, and maybe Italian bakery cookies and canned goods. It's true that the actual produce quality can vary in freshness, so you do need to inspect items and be prepared to use them quickly. But the staff is very nice and I can leave with an overflowing cart of good items to cook with for no more than $30-40.
