I opened one of the letters and decided to give them a shot. It's true I wasn't savvy about insurance, so I thought I'd meet with them to see what they had to offer. Randy Robbins appeared at my door on a Saturday. He couldn't have been more friendly and he was great at explaining the different options available to me. I do think that educating oneself about all things insurance is not exactly fun, but it's very necessary and totally worth doing. I enjoyed my time with Randy and I felt like I learned a lot. He did not pressure me, he came equipped with many variables and different options and I didn't feel like I had to agree to anything. Let me be clear that this review is for specifically the Anderson Hyman group/Ed and not Erie…read moreinsurance. Erie is a wonderful company who processed my claims over the years with excellence. That being said... I have had a policy with Erie through Anderson Hyman Group since I started driving 13 years ago. In the past year, I have gotten married and bought a house. I bought a new car a few months ago and Ed didn't even update my address. There has been no attempt by this office to maintain any type of relationship. I have moved my auto, house, and other policies to a different company with an agent who is interested in developing and keeping a relationship with their clients instead of just being treating their customers like a number. In addition, when I requested the cancellation of my policy, I did not even hear from Ed and I did not receive any questions into the nature of my cancellation thus proving that they simply don't care. Maybe I wasn't a big enough fish for them to care about when I was 20yrs old with a state min auto policy but man did you all miss the boat. Good riddance.
