We hired this company to create our website, mobile app, and provide other marketing in August…read more2022 - via a sales rep that came and met with us several times. Signed a contract, paid the first month's payment, submitted all requested information to get them started, and was assured that we would be up and running within a month. The next day, we were told they couldn't do one part of our agreement, so we would get a lower monthly payment and an updated contract. Three weeks later, after having no further contact regarding new contract, we received a phone call from the owner of the company, Rocky, stating the sales rep had scammed him and stolen a lot of money collected from "new" clients, and had only that week turned in our details to begin the website build, etc. He asked if we still wanted him to provide the services for us and we explained that we were extremely uneasy about the entire situation and to please just cancel the sales agreement. He said he would do that and refund us the $600 we had paid in August, by mailing us a check. Then, a few days later, the sales rep calls and claims the owner is taking people's money and not performing the jobs as contracted, essentially defaulting on all of his contractual agreements. The sales rep provided proof in the form of bank deposit receipts where he had deposited the check we gave him into the business account of Ocoee Technologies the day we gave it to him. It's been 3 weeks since Rocky called and promised to send our money back, and no check. I've tried calling and emailing and have received no response. We know of at least 3 other local small businesses this company has stolen money from and who are now like us, out the money and starting all over in having their marketing and website done. We are a very small family owned business, newly opened in April and just trying to make it and be able to support our family. This company stole money that we could've used to feed our kids! Do yourself a favor and DONT USE THEM!! Especially if you don't have the extra money to just throw away like most small businesses. Truly disgusted with this entire unprofessional mess. We have reported to the BBB and will be taking this to court for fraud. **update: 4 months later and we received a reply to our Google review that the owner is working on a refund...although he promised it was being mailed MONTHS AGO. more lies and scamming!**
