Mike sat down and explained their installation process. I was very impressed with the technique they use instead of cementing 4x4's in the ground. My main concern was making sure the post would not lean due to soupy ground etc. I have never saw such a great idea that they use instead of cementing post. Their installation process of supporting the sections was great! Mike showed me a video of how they install. Cannot beat their install process! I'm familiar with how privacy fences are installed but I must admit seeing how they do it, my fear of anything moving or leaning over time left me. Mike was very pleasant to talk to. I'm looking forward in having my fence installed so my "3" Yorkies can play outside this summer! Thanks Mike! I'll let you all know how everything goes once I get it done!

I'm pretty keen on not getting overcharged for things, but I also know "You get what you pay for" After getting several quotes for a window replacement (old window out, new vinyl window in) I decided to give Mallo Home Improvement a go. Their quote wasn't as low as quotes from unverifiable sources (ie craigslist or such), they were much lower than the big box stores, and a few local shops. The Service: Mallo is good about working with your schedule to make the initial measurements. They don't stock the windows, so there was a couple week wait between the time I contracted the work, and the time it was completed, but nothing too long. They did a quality install job, and I've since called them back to do another window (currently on order). They have a small but nice showroom, making me rest assured I am in good hands and not some fly by night operation. I haven't looked into kitchen / bath renos with them, but plan to get more quotes from them in the future. Look back here for updated reviews as they will probably be my go-to guys. They also sent me a $100 gift certificate in the mail for christmas, which isn't good for repairs, but can be used if purchasing materials. The lock on my detached garage door was stuck, and I couldn't get my car out. I called them and…read morethey came out. He ended up having to break through one of the wood panels to get in and unlock it. My door was old, so I figured it was time to replace it. He took measurements and showed me examples of doors I could purchase. I ordered a steel door that had panels that resembled my old door. Upon installation, I noticed when the door was closed, the top section of panels were partially hidden. When I questioned this, he said that the next size down would have been too short. I had no idea that it was going to look like this. After doing some research, I discovered that you can still order a door that would correctly fit a 6'6" door height. I guess 7' doors are now the standard. I gave them some stars because the guys worked hard taking out the old door, installing the new door, and making some adjustments but I'm very disappointed at how it ended up looking at the top.
