My hubby and I liked it a little more than Heart of Ohio because they actually had quite a lot of pop culture items instead of only antiques. And their prices are very reasonable!! We were able to find a lovely canvas movie poster for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and we almost bought a full sized framed movie poster for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Great place for Gen Xers who love all things 70's and 80's! They also had vintage clothes and antique furniture and items like Heart of Ohio does. Sadly, they do have the dreaded glass cases where you have to hunt down an employee just to look at something, but not as many as Heart of Ohio has. And they have a decent system set up for alerting the employees that you need help. We will be back to this one very soon!

a delightful place you could spend the entire day in…read more I will note that when we were there, the basement was completely dark and we looked through the antiques by the flashlights on our phones. there was a jump scare of a life sized clown that made my heart rate spike so much my Fitbit asked if I was okay. they make delicious milkshakes and have lots of pinball games to play. my sister found a beautiful print and my friend bought some jackets that she adores. all in all it was more than worth the drive.

I came in today with 2 of my friends and had a horrible experience. We had never been here before…read moreand were excited to look at the antiques, but the woman on staff was very unwelcoming to us. We walked in and greeted her and smiled and were ignored. Red flag #1. As we walk through the store looking at what they had to offer, we notice the woman behind the desk following us and circling us. There were several other customers that did not experience this treatment. This in itself was not an issue. When I had made my way towards the back of the store with my boyfriend after examining everything else, the woman had followed us and practically ran after us. She came up to us and said "you need to stay in the front where I can see you." I had noticed a sign on the door regarding minors unattended in the store however my friends and I are all in our early 20's. This is completely unacceptable treatment. All parts of the store should be welcome to all patrons regardless of their age or how they look. I firmly believe that we were treated this way because of our appearance as we are young people with facial piercings and my boyfriend is a minority. I must note that up until this point we had been completely respectful costumers and were not causing a disturbance whatsoever, simply looking at antiques like anyone else. The only difference between us and the other customers who were not treated this way was our appearance. The woman on staff what a short older woman with a blonde bob. I surely hope this issue is addressed so no other young people experience this treatment when shopping at this establishment. Antiquing isn't just for old people. (:
