My expectation was to receive a clean(!), repaired bike which had received an overall-maintenance treatment. What I got back was two bikes with, indeed, the basic repair done but without any of the upkeep. (Maybe this was poor communication on my part? I'd expected- when I asked for the maintenance- to get a clean bike that had been assessed for safety and function, and which had also been cleaned.) On a completely irrelevant note: I'd really really really rather not have to hand over hundreds of dollars of hard-earned $ while listening to a VERY politically leaning radio station. Ugh

I called them directly to ask what they could do in my price range and to be delivered on a Saturday morning. I also needed a vase since, you know, moving. The man I spoke to was very nice and extremely accommodating. He suggested a fall arrangement and asked what time I'd like it there. I asked for between 9 and 11 AM. My mom said he was there right at 10 (even in the pouring rain!). The arrangement was substantial (including the vase) for $33 INCLUDING delivery! Most of the flowers weren't open yet, which was perfect to make the bouquet last longer. I couldn't have been more pleased with their assistance in making my mom's day extra special.

Chiefs Trading Post advertises a fair amount in local publications and on billboards, so I had the…read morestore on my radar to check out for quite a while. I learned that the business started out as a garage sale, and some of the rooms do seem rummage sale/flea market-esque. We'd actually driven by once before but they were closed then. There was a fair amount of fireworks for sale, but what stands out when you arrive is the metal lawn art and concrete statuary. I had a fun time walking through looking at all of it (with some yard birds accompanying me), although some of it did seem fairly old. Mr. R found some cheap records inside and it was a good place to get out and stretch our legs.
