Gary's background in law enforcement provides context around many of the issues surrounding gun ownership and use. Most importantly, Gary provides a great deal of valuable advice around avoiding being in potentially dangerous situations, as well with how to make the firing of a gun a last resort (for many practical reasons). He is literally there to help you learn to protect you from others, but also from yourself! There are many ways to protect yourself, and not all of them require the use of a gun -- sometimes common sense along with sage advice are your best offense AND defense. There are shorter classes out there to get your license, but the information gained in this class provides knowledge everyone should gain. I would highly recommend to anyone who owns a gun or is thinking of owning a gun, not just for the concealed carry purpose.

I took this course in 2014 with Jeff as the trainer. Jeff is a great instructor: he's credentialed, knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. During the course I learned about Wisconsin's CCW laws, my responsibilities when carrying a concealed weapon, firearm safety, locations where carrying a concealed weapon is prohibited even with a license, and the conditions that must be present to legally use deadly force in self defense. To demonstrate the limitations of using deadly force in self defense, Jeff engaged the class in thought provoking role-playing scenarios that simulated deadly force decision-making. In these classroom scenarios you may discover that some situations where you think you are justified to use deadly force to defend yourself may in fact put yourself in legal jeopardy. Better to learn now in a safe classroom setting, rather than later in court after a real shooting situation. Do the safe and smart thing, take this CCW course!

NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I know NOTHING about firearms, but, for various reasons,…read morerecently decided to get a rifle. Craig and Becky could have been judgmental of my novice status, but instead, not only welcomed me and treated me with respect and dignity, but really helped me get what I wanted. Craig guided me to buy a .22 rifle as a starter rifle, to get used to shooting comfortably. Then, when I wanted the Ruger Walnut stock on a rifle that came originally with a composite stock, he and Becky started a month-long journey of finding the stock, realizing the trigger guard was attached to original stock, ordering that, finding out internal pieces didn't fit and grinding the inside of the stock down to fit them, finding the trigger guard well was shaped differently and chiseling that out, finding the screws were too short and getting new ones that fit. It was nothing short of amazing. With this first gun, I wanted something special, and for me that was the Walnut stock - I got even more than that - a beautiful custom rifle which I am so happy with! Now, I'll be taking a rifle course with one of them to help me start my journey! I have rarely received such wonderful customer service nor met such great people.
