I booked an afternoon session for myself, mom and mother in law as a late Christmas present- when we arrived everything was set for us on our stations and we had an "art-tender", Jasmine, to help us with every step! She was so kind and patient with our beginner skill sets. What I appreciated the most about all the staff I saw was how they paid attention to detail on our projects- they would offer tips and techniques and we never felt rushed in the process. Exhibits change once every eight weeks. There are different art and pottery studios throughout the building as well as different art galleries on different floors and wings on the building. I picked up a Coburg Cow pin designed by Emily Furr as a souvenir. Also, admission is FREE. They have a small parking lot behind the building and there is a free garage across the street. The staff is helpful and friendly and they have a variety of ceramics to choose from to paint. They also have options for painting canvases and creating glass art, which I haven't tried yet. I like the new location, which now has a space in the back with booths, etc for a quieter experience or for a group that needs a little more space to work. The only thing that threw me off was that there are a few different spots that have the ceramic options to paint, but they are on opposite side of the room, etc. So after browsing & selecting an item to paint, I happened to see another display on the other wall with items to choose from, but didn't notice them until after the fact. It would be a little easier to see all of my options in one area, but I also understand that people need the space to browse without being too crowded.
