I'm completely serious: she competently handled all details from start to finish, mundane to significant, while keeping us in the loop at all times. We presented our vision for a cocktail/small plate reception to her; she in turn recommended a caterer who offered us a proposal that required zero revisions. She lined up our appointments, interviewed vendors, kept track of our budget and was always expense-conscious; she did all of the above thoughtfully, efficiently, and in a timely fashion. Never once did she push vendors or ideas on us; she let us envision our wedding the way we hoped to have it and she executed it all brilliantly. She was always available, responded same day to emails and phone calls, and we found ourselves marveling at how stress-free the process had become! We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day, an uncommon occurrence among newlyweds consumed with the planning process, because she had taken care of everything. We first first met Cynthia last February when the manager of our wedding reception venue recommended her as we started the process of interviewing vendors. After one meeting on a cold Saturday afternoon, not only were my wife and I pleased with Cynthia's enthusiasm and ability to translate my wife's verbal description into actual artistic sketches, but my mother-in-law was impressed as well (no easy task!). Throughout the process Cynthia made sure my wife was kept informed of where flowers were being sourced from and involved her in every decision point and arrangement idea. We could not have been happier with the end result!Cynthia's execution of my wife's original vision was perfect and our guests repeatedly praised the floral arrangements throughout the reception! The pictures from that evening are spectacular and the flowers were a key part in creating the elegant atmosphere we were aiming for. We literally could not have been happier with the whole thing. We anticipated bumps, as every wedding has them, but with the help of Alyssa and her team, not a bump was felt. As expected, Alyssa communicated with my daughter months ahead of the wedding, but I was happy that I was also included in the emails and phone calls to square away any concerns, ideas or meltdowns. If we had an issue with anything, she was on it. From firming up table décor, to handling the staff at the venue, to something as small as my new grand-daughter's slightly larger-than-it-should-be dress, Alyssa could be counted on. She was prepared, professional and on time. Her staff was more than friendly, yet stayed professional and tended to everything at the wedding so my daughter and the rest of the wedding party were free to enjoy the day without having to break away to handle anything. They were so affordable and talented that she booked them immediately. They set up two meetings prior to the wedding and answered any question we threw at them in a timely manner. On the big day, they texted me that morning & updated me as to their ETA and were early! They immediately began working on outdoor shots, sanctuary photos, etc. The "getting ready" photos were such a special experience and they were so careful to listen to the bride's wants & brought the reference photos we had sent them as inspiration. The ceremony was in a sanctuary so Neethu and Shiji were quiet and unnoticeable during the ceremony. They got great shots and somehow captured the most precious moments without much movement! They let me (the best friend and control freak) help organize the family photos after the ceremony & were so respectful and patient. We worked together to get all the photos done without stressing the couple. The portraits afterwards were so fun and memorable. Neethu took amazing candid shots with angles that complimented the couple & Shiji focused on direction and portraits. After the wedding, they checked in with a few sneak peeks & delivered the completed collection within their promised 6-week turn around. I cannot recommend this amazing duo enough.
