Ken Perez has deep understanding of Chinese martial arts and is able to help students of any ability level. The atmosphere at DMA center is pleasant and relaxed. Prices are very reasonable - workshops and private lessons available. Very glad I found this highly - regarded instructor, who is a member of ICMAC Hall of Fame (Senior Master).

I felt relaxed and pampered. The space was beautifully decorated. I wish it wasn't so far from my house. I will definitely go back to their other community acupuncture events. It is only $25 the person or if you bring a friend it's two for $40. The mind body Spirit Center's brochure says rejuvenation and regeneration in an environmentally conscious center. There's also a nurse practitioner who provides nutritional counseling, immune enhancement,allergy testing and women's healthcare. Kat Myers also does yoga, qi gong, body rolling and offers workshops. I'm definitely going to check those out!

I went there for only acupuncture, so if you want to just tell her your symptoms of discomfort or pain and be treated, this is not your place as she wants a complete physical and mental health recap. The place is also not open all the time--so if you want to cancel an appointment or make changes, then you may need to wait 3 days as they don't have long hours and are closed on Fridays and the weekends. She didn't come back at the end of my treatment to remove the needles and her staff missed one, which caused me to have jarring pain when I put on my pants!! I took the needle out and then said, "You missed one!" and she didn't apologize but just took it from me and dropped it in the trash. I also called to reschedule a follow-up appointment and the woman on the phone didn't seem all that interested in finding a date solution. So, I just didn't make another appointment and I don't think she cared a hoot. I think her current staff is subpar but I liked her. Maybe this should be a 3.5 star review???

These are the classes I attend, and they have them most every day. They also have flow and the 'flying yoga ' with the silks hung from the ceiling...really a trip!! So something for everyone. Teachers are knowledgeable, cheerful and generous. Addition of Hybrid classes ( students at the studio properly social distanced and zoom participants) is a great option in Covid times. I now live too far to attend in person and love being able to attend via the miracle of technology. This is a great place to begin a practice or continue your journey!
