I like the staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. But forget about the male manger. He seems standoffish and rude. I should have recorded him as he tried to explain the use of a sim card on my new phone. He had no patience and again just plane RUDE!!! If there was another place to go to near by me- I would head there instead. Otherwise, just ignore the male manger. He needs to quit! He is not helpful. Just rude- rude-rude-rude. Next time I go there and he tries to assist me- I will record him and his rude attitude. If not for his friendly I would give this place a minus 0. I waited less than 15 minutes to be seen. The women working the corner was very nice. I appreciate the care I received. I was a little disappointed that they didn't give me the credit the phone rep mentioned over the phone. As soon as you walk in don't forget to sign in. Went in around 3pm on a Friday its like a ghost town. They lose a start because their internet speeds suck. I'm still getting charged for non-sense. I might end up canceling cable all together. Came here several months back to bring back equipment. I was advised by an employee there to keep my internet for 44.99 promo. She also told me in order to get this promo I had to get a box which provided both internet and cable. I agreed. I get the bill for the next month it came out to 69.99. I called customer service and they let me know internet only was 44.99 but I had agreed on cable which increased it to 69.99 for both. I said I never agreed to get cable services. I was told by employee in order for me to get this 44.99 promo I had to get a box which gave both internet and cable. Long story short. They scammed me. Don't go there. They will lie in order for you to get extra services without you knowing. Every employee there have quotas they have to meet per day. Don't be a daft individual, avoid Spectrum. read more

Large new store. Great service and very convenient to get to. I was so glad to find this place. I had to swap out two boxes because my old ones were acting up. I went in to cancel the TV portion of my service and asked the guy to please leave everything as is and he reduced the speed of my internet. One little thing he had to do and he screwed up everything. Now in order to get my speed back to what it was I have to go back to the store. i like to start my review by stating the customer service i got from the spectrum customer counter rep was excellent and i left the place happy and the happy part was mostly to the fact that i am going to eat soon. all jokes aside , i went to spectrum in astoria on steinway to get a new cable box via exchange and a extra box for my guest room .the process was quick and easy , the sales pitch to add services was short and not pushy at all. place is nice and has a stylist boutique feel . high marks for customer service , cool decor and quick in and out . glad i dumped verizon which had terrible customer service read more

This review is for Jessica only, not the nightmare that is typically customer service (including the call center- the literal WORST!). Jessica was so understanding and empathetic, and made our second trip to the store a good experience. She immediately replaced the faulty equipment and set us up with a service visit the next day if our internet was still not working. The service at the store is terrible. The Asian woman that works there has a terrible attitude. I was waiting 20 minutes and I just asked politely how much longer does she think she will be. Very Rudely she responded yelling Sir I'm with a customer right now don't you see. I just asked kindly again and tried to explain my car was on the meter but she was so terrible cut me off and said I don't know. I had enough and left. Spectrum provides horrible internet speeds... you need to constantly reset modem.... The assistance and tech support varies from okay to really poor. Just a bad product from a company who doesn't seem to care much at all. If you have any other options I advise you to go with them. These people will do ANYTHING to get a cut of commission including empty promises and screwing over reliable customers. Upon signing up we were promised a 2-year contract without increase in price. Nope. Price increase one year later and there was conveniently "nothing they could do about it." We switched over to the Streaming Plan where we were told that the monthly payment would be approximately $90-95/month... e-mail alert came that it would be $322 effective immediately. We were told that "all smart TVs have the streaming app so we can return our cable box got a cheaper monthly statement" but apparently not all smart TVs have the app and now we are left without tv but yet still on track to pay $322 per month. Needless to say, Spectrum as a whole sucks and, furthermore, the associates at this branch are not at all helpful. Do yourself a favor and abort mission. read more

This service is not good. I have been with DirecTV, Vios, and Dish in different markets and they are all better. I live in Brooklyn and the internet goes out constantly. I'm trying to watch Game of Thrones from the DVR and the video is not good at all. MTV and other popular networks record horribly as well. Most shows skip at some point so we miss a portion. My wife and I work from home and we have to reset the WIFI one or two times a day because it lags. I wish there was a dependable option. We're looking into alternative options for television services. My MIFI from Verizon has been the best added expense for our business with internet services because it actually works. I would not recommend Spectrum at all. If you have an alternative to entertainment for most major networks that would be close to real time please let all of us know. Spectrum SUCKS! read more
