Constantly buffering cable and streaming in the afternoon and evening. I'm paying $280 a month for this crap! Get it together

This review is about the lack of customer service by the corporate Spectrum group. The personnel at the store here in town did all they could to help. When I called Spectrum to change my phone number, they said they did change it and told me where it could be found on my phone. It wasn't there, they couldn't fix it over the phone. I drove into town to the store and they worked on it for about three hours. The phone died during the process and now has to be replaced. Spectrum claims no responsibility, says it was just an old phone. Galaxy said it sounded like a Spectrum caused issue and I could drive two hours to a location where that could be verified. Spectrum said they were sending a new SIM card by FedEx. I received an email giving a date and time frame for delivery. Nothing was delivered. Spectrum said I need to be available to sign for it. FedEx now says I don't. Fed up. Spectrum needs to get some customer service. They seem to be quite capable of taking payments but not with providing customer service. read more

I have had Spectrum for a while now, but every time I go into the store in Canon City with an issue, the female employees are not friendly! They all seem quite annoyed that they are being asked to help, and 2/23/26 was no different. Amanda? was cold, not friendly and turned her head away from me, ignoring me as I left, without even a goodbye. All I did was pick up a new router. Always pick the male employees, they always have a smile, leave the women alone. read more

He stole my children's heirlooms and will not return them to me nor communicate with me. He told me he could keep my things with him as long as needed, but for obvious sexual reasons, he keeps them from me, refusing to let me retrieve them. read more

We've had Spectrum for home internet and cellular service for 6 years and yes we were happy with the service. 6 months ago a broadband company( Visionary) began installing fiber internet feed to our town at a much lower monthly fee, saving 40+dollars a month. So I went to the local office in Canon City 3 times to ask if they were planning the same or if they have better plan to keep us as customers. They pretty much ignored the topic. I then called customer service 3 times as well and inquired about the same topic. NO we won't budge on service pricing was the response I received and anyone above my pay grade won't help you either. The new fiber broadband has been installed and I am returning the Motem and router to the local office where the manager tells me, I should have come in a spoken to her, we would have made a deal to keep our local customers, Really? too late for that, I gave them multiple opportunities to do so and they refused every time. The day to call to cancel internet service I was told to keep my cellular at 29.00 month per line a one time 10 dollar fee would be applied. I figured okay I'll do it. What do you know a month later I receive a text an Email stating my Cellular will go up to 40.00 per line. Once again I called customer service,explaned the scenario and asked them to listen to the last conversation( since they record all conversations)? I informed him that this was breach of contract. They hung up quickly 2 times. So now they send out an employee to neighborhoods begging us to resign with spectrum claiming now they willing to negotiate a better rate, My wife informed him we have given you guys more than ample opportunities to keep us as customers but YOU DECLINED TO DO SO. They betrayed us every way a company could have. If you present the customer service agents with evidence they hang up, twice. Too little too late. Spectrum screwed the pooch BIG TIME. Monthly internet charge went up almost $15 without warning. It wasn't due to an entry price or bundle going away. Went into the store to find out why, and was informed that the price changed almost a year ago... and accounts just realized I wasn't paying the right price. They refused to do anything, or offer a new package. Having a brick storefront is useless if the customer support isn't able to handle a simple issue without getting irritated that they have to work. Customer agent was too busy on her phone and then had to help me.. and rushed through it only to tell me to call the 1800 number for a resolution. If there was another company in this town, I would go there immediately. read more
