If I could leave zero stars I would. I have had spectrum for years. About a year and a half ago we decided to switch from the cable box to Xumo. We packaged our box up and drove it to the Davison store. When we got there, they were busy and the woman asked if we were there for cell phones, we said no we have to drop off the old cable box. She said, "Just leave it here and I will take care of it." Fast forward to end of May, I call spectrum to ask why our bill is so much. They had been charging my account almost $20 a month for the year and a half because they "Cannot find the returned box" So I called them today and they say "well we took the box off your acct, but it was never returned so there is no refund to your acct." On top of all of that our internet goes out as well as the tv. Definitely DO NOT recommend them for your internet or tv. read more

Apparently my local store has no phone number and i can only talk to people at the corporate locations. 2. Our service has been out for 4 days now and no can give me a restoration time and no one is working on our problem. when i call for help I get the loop of pre-written messages and only "there is nothing in the system" I hope this place goes out of business and all of the executives end up in financial ruin. read more

Buyer beware. Spectrum is selling models of cell phones that they cannot service. The Moto G is one according to one of their techs, and a Samsung phone (unknown model ) is another one. The phones will not receive or let you make phone calls or make or receive texts. I bought a phone on November 23, 2022, and by December 3rd I had taken it back three times. Twice they put a new card in the phone which made it work for 2 days. They blame it on software updates from Motorola. They offered to let me get a different phone if I paid a $50.00 restocking fee. This is an unethical business practice. I called Spectrum direct and was basically told to quit wasting their time. A call made to the store manager was not returned. UPDATE. I was able to contact the store manager and the problem was resolved with his assistance. I am increasing the rating due to the local staff, however, I am still wondering why Spectrum Corporate continues to offer products that they can't service. read more

First the employees were doing everything they could to help the customers, no knock on them. However they are severely short-staffed. I simply wanted to return equipment as I am trying to save $$ money by using a Roku and the Spectrum app. There should be separate lines for folks buying and Or rolling over their phones to Spectrum service. This type of service can take 30 minutes easy. I ended up leaving my returns and trusting that the scans would cancel the equipment and save me on the costs as I bought the Roku's. I know times are hard getting employees but Spectrum needs to take better care of customers. I checked in at 11:30a. Left at 12:10p when i was still 7th in line. At 1:30p. (When I was back home) I got a text that it was my turn. I couldn't justify waiting 2 hours for that turn in receipt. Hopefully it will work out. Spectrum is like the DMV! read more

When I first signed up for Spectrum three years ago I was paying rates around 55.00 a month. Over the course of three years my rate has steadily increased to over 100.00 a month for just internet service. They have also lowered the quality of service over that time too. I called and they said they can only offer me a lower rate if I was a new customer. So much for customer loyalty. read more
