Hello, I came in to the Hueytown location on Dec 4, 2019. I…read moretold Brian AT&t Agent I was interested in switching to AT&T because of the free phone promotion. I asked him which phones were available He told me the note 10 was free as well as the Xr my daughter received. I asked him again are you sure these phones are free. I have had no contract for 10 years because I hate the lies and hidden fees. He did not tell me I had to trade in a phone to get this promotion for either line. Switching to AT&T was an opportunity to give cellphone companies with contracts another chance and I would get a newer phone than my Samsung 7edge. I was reassured the phone was free. Brian got approval from Jacob. When I got a bill I came into the office because it showed charges for both phones, the monthly amount was wrong, etc..... Brian and Tyler where there. Tyler look up current promotions and said it wasn't in promotion Brian said in her presence "that Jacob/ Store manager said she can get the note 10 as part of the promotion". My daughter was with me both times I came in. Tyler gave me a copy of the notes from our conversation and what she was seeing in system. she assured me she was going to talk to Jacob(Store Mgr.) about it and I told her I didn't trust that because I had been lied too already by the bill I received, so she gave me a copy so I had proof. Jacob told Brian to give me his number. So I called Jacob on 12/10 @10:15 am. He said, " he confirmed that I was told both phones were free and the Xr- iPhone fell under a promotion but the Note 10 was not at that time, but since you were told that and it was approved by management I'm going to talk to my supervisor and have them accelerate the bill. And then issue a credit so the phone is free and I sincerely apologize for any hardship. It might take some time but until that happens I have set up a credit on the 25th of every month for 31.95 the cost of installment of Note 10". " I trusted him at his word. The only thing He did truthfully is to write a note in system in December 2019 of what happened and what I was told about the phone being free and how I would receive a credit each month for the phone. I called back to At&T customer service to verify if Jacob wrote a note in system about the phones being free and the agent confirmed he had indeed wrote the note. I was happy He kept his word!!!!! But then each month I have to call back to customer service and get the credit. Customer service then has to go through all the notes then they issue the credit. On December 10, 2019. I told him he could have the phone back and he said no Ms. Gardner you don't have to give it back this is our fault and we are going to fix it. The phone will be free. I'm disappointed at how I have been lied to and the unprofessional dirty business tactics of gaining my trust only to being lied to about my phones being free. And I'm mad on 4/22/20 I called Jacobs cell phone to explain I'm still not receiving credit. Jacob tells me to email Jcombs@primecomms.com so that he can further investigate . I'm waiting on a response. Yesterday Jacob assured me he had sent the email back in December of 2019 but never got a response so he was going to email someone else a cc me in the email. He did not send me a copy of the email on 4/22/20 so I went in the store on 4/23/20 He apologized again I'm sincerely hoping someone in higher management can assist and fix this once and for all. I truly expected better from At&T I want what I was told by Brian and Jacob to be honored and my phones to be completely free. I never would have came to At&T if I knew I would have gone through months of frustration and deceptive business practices.

I received terrible treatment by the clerk at this facility. He was shouting, rude and less than…read moreaccommodating. He should not work with the public. I paid $77 for some q-air ear buds May 12, 2023. This guy refused to obtain my receipt via his computer. He refused to give me his name. He wasn't wearing a name tag, neither was the store number published. He refused to give me the telephone number to corporate. He refused to give me the name of the district manager or his/her phone number. He refused to give me an exchange or a refund. He was rude, degrading and insolate.
