I went to this store for a simple exchange on my cable box. After only 2 months, it was already mal-functioning. The tech agent gave me the option of either waiting til they mailed out a new box, or go to a spectrum service location. When locating the facility, I noticed they had terrible yelp reviews and couldn't understand why? This location was 1/2 hour away but I decided to go anyway. When I arrived, there was 1 young girl waiting on a couple. She appeared to be the only agent. After waiting 1/2 hour, 4 more people came in and were all waiting in line. This same girl was still helping the same customer. Finally....another lady came out. I gave her my box and she had stated, "I hope it's a rented one and not bought, because then I can't exchange it". Not sure why this makes a difference but I thought what a huge inconvenience that would be. Luckily it was rented and I was able to make the exchange. As I was leaving, I noticed the lady that waiting on me was scolding 2 of the 4 people who were waiting because they moved 2 chairs 8ft so they wouldn't have to stand the whole time. It's unfortunate something as simple as a cable companies corporate store makes it so difficult and unpleasant for their customers when it should be a place of convenience for their customers. read more

The company is not customer orientated You can't do anything in the physical store but pick up items At the end of season they put me on seasonal rate for one month at lake house and told me I'd have to pay full rate when not there I ended up paying for October but will cancel service in November I'll look for another option like Dish read more

Went in to the store to return equipment that I had not requested in the same box in which was mailed to my cottage. They would not take their box back saying they wouldn't clean up after me. Really! After all... this was their box and their mistake for sending me unrequested equipment. To top if all these fools followed me to the parking lot. I still can't believe their behavior. They threatened to call the police on me if I left their box outside their door. Customer service? Hah! Two of their employees left their post and walked outside to intimidate and berate me. They should be reprimanded. Shame on Spectrum... I have no complaints about their internet service but that office in West Branch deserves close scrutiny by the company. I reached out by phone and filed a complaint through their chat line but have not heard back... read more

When adding service to a new home, we reached out to Charter to set up cable, internet and phone services. I spoke to a charming and very helpful woman named Jennifer. She helped us in so many ways. Knowing that we have a young child, she recommended a cable package that would make our little one very happy. When scheduling the install, she took the initiative to call the install team and request a time that fit better for us since we were closing on a house and needed travel time. She did it all! Our installer, Aaron was so sharp. He figured out a random wiring problem. He made sure our signals were strong and he made the install appointment go very smoothly. We are so happy with our Charter experience! read more

sadly, Charter chooses to not provide service to any nearby areas within a 1/4 mile of their neighboring serviced area. example: a home or two 1/4 mile from where they do provide service, will not be capable of obtaining Charter service... ever ! read more

if you want to get charged for a whole month for only 3 days of service. this is the company you want. make sure you close your account on exactly the day before you started. read more
