DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE!!!…read more I've had many issues with Firestone in the past, and I really don't have many good things to say. For one, I had to reschedule an appointment three times to get my high pressure ac hose replaced. The first time, the Firestone in Springfield told me that I had to reschedule my appointment because they wouldn't have enough time to replace the part, even though the specifically told me the the given time would work while I was setting up the appointment with them over the phone. The second time, the Firestone in Springfield ordered the necessary part for my appointment, then sold it to another customer. The third time, the Firestone in decatur on Main street told me that they forgot to order the part for my appointment after thirty minutes of waiting. Then, finally, the part was finally replaced after over a month of appointments. I also had my radiator thermostat replaced by this Firestone, and they improperly bled my radiator system. One summer hit, my engine overheated constantly, due to the simple fact that there wasn't nearly enough coolant in my radiator lines. After a multiple hour long appointment to figure out why my engine was overheating, I received a call telling me that they couldn't replicate the overheating in my car, and refused to service it. While driving my car the next day, my engine was overheating out of control. I called this Firestone to see up another appointment, and I was told to take my car to the dealership. After doing my own investigating, I found that my radiator line was close to completely empty. Had the Firestone technicians taken off my radiator cap, they would have found this issue instantly. Overall, I've had my fair share of Firestone appointments, and I would recommend anyone to NOT GO TO FIRESTONE! No matter the location, even the second one in Decatur, they're all terrible. I was even charged $150 for an oil change...

The guy working on my car was so nice, he himself called places to find out who can deliver the part to me the fastest and showed me exactly where the problem was. They said my car would be ready by the next day but somehow the wrong part came in so it took another day, but i did not mind waiting at all bc they were soooo sweet, she even offered me her own personal car to use and said she would catch a ride with someone bc she felt bad. Obviously i didnt make her do that! Anyways i would come here for every issue in my car. They are the sweetest/caring people i have come across since moving to Decatur

Was told on the phone that front end alignment was done. After paying his almost $300 bill he noticed his alignment was worse than when he dropped it off. When he returned the car he was told that they would not align the car because he put parts on himself even though they billed him for the alignment. They said it was from temperature changes. Since when do temperature changes cause your tires to lose 15 lbs of air? I am a senior citizen and frequently travel out of town, these tires have made my life a nightmare, constantly afraid I'm going to get stranded somewhere. Absolutely do not recommend this business unless you are a fleet driver.

Checked it out on a whim and saw the coolant was still dirty. After making an ass of myself calling corporate, their district manager informed me that it was because of my reservoir being filthy due to my not having kept it clean (DEFINITELY my fault. It's been a very long time since I'd gotten a flush), and they had me come in to resolve it. The store manager Jeremy handled it and was incredibly nice. He cleaned my reservoir out and refilled it cost free. I absolutely will be returning.

They wanted to charge us 620$ for new brakes. We have photos of the rotor glowing purple and pink as well as the tire smoking. I worked closely with mechanics and this is NOT a brake issue. Will not be going back.
