Do you prefer the Speedway or the Cocaineway? Either way is risky, I'd personally go for neither. But if you must go the Speedway then this is the place to come. Located right off the highway to Columbus in the north part of the city not far from the University and whatnot, you will find a Speedway which often has much cheaper gas than a lot of the other places in Columbus Ohio. Go to a different store and don't waste your time stopping here. If I could give a zero I would. Pumps are always shut down due to no or low maintenance, they don't have hot food ready in the mornings like other speedways do, their store inside is an absolute nightmare of disorganization and it's never clean, you have to ask them to refill the toilet paper because they don't keep up on it and clean the restrooms because customers like to urinate and defecate everywhere but the toilet due to the bad service is my thought. read more

I haven't reviewed this already? Huh. Well, it's handy on my commute, and often has good gas prices. Open 24 hours, so I can get gas on the way home if needed. A bit awkward to get into and out of with the highway, side street, and railroad, so be careful. I rarely go inside, but when I do, it's been a pretty typical Speedway. Kinda small. This location is so bad it looks like they tried to hide this location from Yelp. The service here is in high traffic and they don't have enough staff to keep up with the demand. I am a loyal Speedway customer however this location seems like they're not sensitive to the needs of his guests although this is a 24-hour location located near the highway they seemed not to want to open the bathrooms past 8 they put a sign everyday that says out of order however the bathrooms are fine many locations are gas stations might close one down for a time or another so they can keep up with the demand however this is unheard of and I'm appalled by this kind of behavior. I only gave two stars because Speedway always had consistent products and because I'm a customer of them but I don't know this location is really made me change how I view Speedway they seem to always have a now hiring sign so that's an indication that employees are not happy so I'm not sure if the company needs to revamp how they pay their employees or how they give them breaks or something of that effect is definitely an issue with the Staffing I have some Speedway reviews that are pretty good but this location to seems like they need to tear it down and start over. read more

A good gas station during the day and a sometimes sketchy place after dark. I will stop here from time to time because it is in a convenient location, right off 71 to the west at the corner of Weber and Silver Drive. Speedway has a good rewards and customer loyalty program. Their gas is usually on the cheaper side for Columbus. They have a good selection of drinks, snacks, and beers for a gas station. They have a large parking lot and a number of pumps. This location always seem to have multiple employees on duty when I come here but the floors and the few times I needed to use the restroom were a mess. As a guy I get to stand and I am thankful for that, but I got track that slop back to my car so i use their floor mats liberally before stepping out. Seems like the employees never leave the store as I have been harassed multiple times by pan handlers or drunks at the pumps and by the door. That is not something I would want my mother or girlfriend to experience and they need to do a better job of policing their parking lot. read more

It's a gas station. Guess what? You can get gas here! For reals though, they usually have the cheapest gas in the area. If you're a speedy rewards club member sometimes they take a few cents off the price per gallon. That's a fun bonus. If you go in, you're going to be overwhelmed with a selection of nasty gas station food. Just skip it. And don't drink the coffee. But you are more than encouraged to pick up a PBR tall boy and a pack of peanuts. Those are safe, and enjoyable. read more

This is a pretty standard gas station. It's often busy, since it's right on the corner of Silver Dr (with an on ramp to 71). Because of this, the oddly long parking lot can get really hectic. It could also use a good repaving, or at least some patches. They're open late (24 hours, maybe? Idk). Last time I went late at night to grab a snack, I tried to park next to a car, but they threw their door open at the last second and started vomiting into my would-be parking spot. I backed right up and found another, more clean spot. In light of that, you might see some sketchy people come in here at night (drunks, especially, but they stop selling alcohol at 1 or 1:30 I think). I've seen my fair share. The interior is pretty nice, if not a little sticky. Decent selection of snacks and drinks, with the usual Speedway hot foods. It's worth going for gas, but if you want snacks, go to the Dollar Store at Hudson and 71. read more

I just stopped in at this speedway on Weber rd right off of the freeway 71N. Speedway is usually always my go-to gas station bc I love getting speedy rewards with my speedway rewards card! It is worth it and in my opinion, the best rewards program out of any gas stations in Ohio! I usually have a normal and fast experience at every speedway, except this one!! The heavy-set guy with white hair and glasses that was working as cashier tonight, was VERY RUDE!! I brought up 2 of the 20oz bottles of coke, only because I was on my 5th 20oz coca-cola purchase, which means if I buy one 20oz coca-cola product, I will receive a coupon for free in my speedy rewards app! When I brought both bottles of coke up to the register, I told him I only wanted to purchase one in the first transaction, because the coupon for a free coke bottle will obviously not be applied to my speedy rewards account until a couple minutes after purchasing my 6th one, in order to receive my 7th coke bottle for free. He rudely told me that he "has to scan both bottles of coke in the SAME transaction," and according to him that was the rule. Lol! I said no sir, I would like to only purchase one of the cokes in the first transaction, since that would be my 6th coke purchase, and after that I would receive a coupon for a free one on my speedy rewards card. He said "whatever That's not how that works!" and that the coupon would be applied in that same transaction for the second one for free! I said no sir, you aren't listening! He obviously doesn't understand how the speedy rewards program works at all, since he doesn't know that it takes a few minutes for the free coupon to be applied to an account, since it takes that long for an account to register/refresh after that first transaction! WOW!! I then went to leave after my purchases, and I said, "thank you sir and have a great night." He completely and rudely rolled his eyes at me and didn't respond!! The worst customer service I have ever seen at that location!! It truly makes me never want to go to that location ever again! I really hope he is new for his and for speedway's sake, or they will be losing way more than myself as customers!! Last thing I would like to state, is if you do not like people or working with customers, then PLEASE DO NOT take a customer service job!!!!! In every company I have ever worked for, the customer is the number 1 priority and ALWAYS COMES FIRST NO MATTER WHAT!!! The #1 priority of any associate working in the customer service industry, is to ensure that every single customer walks out of their business doors happy and guaranteed to return!! If that is not that case EVERY SINGLE TIME, then you don't deserve to work in customer service and you will drive that company straight into the ground!!! I live very close to this speedway and often go there for gas and snacks. It can be difficult finding an open pump during busy times and it's hard to wait behind someone without blocking parking spaces. I'm able to overlook that because of how busy it is, but it's experiences with some late night employees that bother me. There's an older man that usually works nights/early mornings that is extremely rude and racist toward customers. Multiple times I've witnessed them say racial slurs to other customers and was talked back to when I stood up for them. They have been reported to the speedway company but they are still working there and continue with their abhorrent behavior toward customers. I know employees deal with a lot of rude people at night but being racist is unacceptable. I no longer go into the station due to this employee and pay at the pump to avoid them. If you come across this employee you'd know it's them because they are rude to almost everyone. I seriously hope action is taken against this individual in the future because until then, I will not enter the store for shopping to avoid experiences with this employee. read more
