I noticed that both cars behind me were in waiting spots also, as well as the one behind me directed to one of these wait spots. No vehicles were getting there food at the drive thru window pick up. For the next 15-20 minutes different employees came out trying to match the food they had in bags with the correct car. It was like watching circus clowns round up stray cats. After all this wait I finally got out of my car and was heading in to strongly urge them to give me my food. As I approached the building, an employee opened the door and handed me my food. I think I'll pick up a bag of chips and a cookie at the convenience store before ever stopping there again!

When I stepped away from the kiosk, an employee let me know she could help me at the register. I let her know I just ordered at the kiosk. She immediately asked what I'd ordered and went to put my food together! I received my order and hopped back in the car. Not only was my order accurate, but everything was at temp. I was happy to see the stainless steel wall cover still there behind the counter. I met a friend of mine for lunch on my way to Myrtle Beach. We've been friends since 3rd Grade ! I had the Country Ham Plate with Mac-n-Cheese , Mashed Potatoes and Gravy , Roll , and Sweet Tea. He had the Patty Melt with Fries. I love getting Country Ham when I come home to visit because we can't get it in Las Vegas. It was good , but I have to say the portion was a little smaller than I expected. The Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was good , but the Mac-n-Cheese I didn't really care for. Sweet Tea was on point. My friend liked his Patty Melt and fries. He knew our waitress and she was nice enough to take a picture of us. Bennettsville is still the small town community that I remember and grew up in. I would love to see it grow again like many places have even though all the jobs moved away years ago when the factories moved overseas. My father and I walked the streets of Bennettsville everyday after he got off work and we visited many of the shopkeepers after his first heart attack to give him some exercise. He grew up in Bennettsville and never moved as many of the people that he grew up with. Bennettsville was a tight knit community then and I know the ones that I grew up with still have this place in their heart even being thousands of miles away like me.
