Kinda a throwback station with only 4 pumps and they are not 24/7. The gas prices here are on par with the other gas stations in the area. I'm not a fan of the convenient area as they are kinda high even compared to other gas stations. The few times I've had to either got in the drive thru or go in to pay due to the pumps acting up the service has not been great. Very slow . For years one half of there pumps didn't have visuals so it was a crap shoot what was happening. They have since fixed that so props for improving that. This gas station is a few miles from my house and I stop in time to time. I mainly avoid it because it is smaller and hard to navigate through. I wish the convenient store was cheaper as the place is in a great central location from my home. Overall the place does the trick and fills my need of getting a tank fill up when I need it during there operating hours.

I'd say this place is like a 5 Star gas station and food mart in a way. Most of their food is order ahead and I wasn't aware of this but luckily for me, they had some food ready. They had a Pepperoni and a Turkey and cheese croissant melt ready along with some mozzarella sticks. I got the Pepperoni croissant melt, mozzarella sticks and a drink. Customer service was great and check out was a breeze. I get home and start chowing down. The pepperoni croissant melt has to be my favorite so far even though I haven't tried their other foods yet. It was like a very small pizza on a croissant. Mozzarella sticks were good but was not impressed with the cheese pull. You got to have a good cheese pull. I will be back to try their other foods but maybe order ahead next time in the app. They do have an app for order ahead and rewards. Multiple locations have opened in the Louisville area already.

Get over it…read more With the recent buyout of Thornton's, the overall blahness of Speedway, and the who-knows-what-you'll-get visiting a Circle K, the local Mapco's really standout above the other convenience stores. From my experience, all the Mapco Louisville stores are clean, well-organized, and well-staffed. The gas pumps are easy to navigate with plenty of room between rows. They offer a 90-Octane mid-grade unleaded with no ethanol which is a plus for those of us who believe adding ethanol to gasoline is just a bit stupid when fuel supplies are fine and refining corn to ethanol is just costly. Also, the Chester's Chicken & More located in each Mapco serves the best chicken tenders in town. Granted, best to get them fresh so you need to come by during the lunch or dinner hours and the cook station is not always open, but really, they put the Zaxby's located beside the station to shame. The tenders are huge, juicy and paired with some of their dipping sauces, just plain good. I've also had a couple of their hot dogs from this location, too, which are some of the best dogs around. Served in a few different ways, from Chicago-style, to Memphis-style, or as a chili dog, they air fry the hot dog so it's not off a roller and it has the crispness on the skin as if they were grilled. They're huge, too, so one will usually more than satisfy. My one minus is the fountain machine, it's one of those Coca-Cola touchscreen models, and I hate those damn things.

The staff inside are real welcoming and they have a good selection of beer to buy if would like a night cap. When it boils down to it, the cheap gas won me over.
