Are these people not trained on the proper bagging procedures? My container of loose fruit and cake were upside down in the bag. Chips crushed inside bag with two heavy items. No greetings, no thank you's. Not what I have been experiencing in other stores elsewhere. Are Kroger employees so unhappy with their jobs that they take it out on the customers?

You can get a beer and sip it while you shop. There are even some shopping carts with a holder for your glass. My only complaint is that sometimes the prices are not the best. When they have a sale, however, the prices are awesome. A few times a year they have a huge wine sale and I happened to catch one last week. I purchased a couple of nice bottles of red wine that would normally be $40-50 for less than $20 each.

There's, likely, a rhyme and reason to the organization but I didn't discern it. That means that you shouldn't come here if you're looking for the perfect bottle but you're short on time. Come here, when you have a second to wander (not, lollygag) and explore the options. Again, not a big space but there's a nice quantity and selection if you take the time to look for it. The folks at the counter are helpful but they're busy. If you need something, you may have to wait for a bit. Know this. If they ask you if you need help, say yes. You won't get asked again. This isn't an issue of being rude. It's an issue of having stuff to do. They keep it moving. I dig that. I tend to enjoy a relaxed (lollygagged) booze shopping experience, so SSBS will probably never be my go-to, but it's not at all a bad place to shop. This pink cava was dry, crisp, with a hint of berry and a nice toasty finish. The team offered to help me to my car (as I was buying quite a bit for an event.)
