Which is frustrating, specially when you've been craving something specific from them. I've ordered from the kiosk and an actual person before and the order ends up being wrong. Ever since new ownership took over, I feel like the quality of this place has gone down. Or at least the quality of the food has gone down. The shredded turkey isn't even the same anymore. sliced turkey is no longer the same, you can tell it is from a packaged brand, the one that they use now definitely changes the flavor of the bagel XL. The other day I ordered a bagel XL with sliced turkey, egg,cheese, and cream cheese,l and when I got home it wasn't the sliced turkey but the turkey patty. When I I got home I called them and advised them it was the wrong order. They said to bring it back, and they would make the right one, which they did. But driving back and forth 15 mins each way to go pick it up and exchange it because they wrong is a bit of hassle. Also, it seems like their ordering system is also always printing out the wrong order. And then a few days later I placed an order for delivery and the drink was wrong. I had ordered the peach drink and I got some berry one. I also order a plain bagel with cream cheese for someone and it barely had any cream cheese.

I settled ultimately on a caramel latte. Seeing as how they also had breakfast sandwiches on their menu, I was also excited to try out their sausage, egg, and cheese croissants. Needless to say, I was disappointed when the barista, without uttering a word, went over to the fridge, grabbed a Jimmy Dean-style frozen sandwich, unwrapped it from plastic, and threw it in the microwave without explaining that's actually what they served. The value and quality for drinks aren't bad at all, but compared to some of their local competitors, I've seen and tasted better. The food was a disappointment to say the least, but it does look like they have some interesting baked goods for sale for those interested. Service could use some improvement as well to promote sales on their books as well as inform customers that they're about to order something they could throw in the microwave themselves. I don't recall seeing indications for prices on the books, and at this point, I didn't want to try to start up a conversation with the barista again either. There is free wifi if you're looking for a place to work. For better or worse, there is also a children's area that could be a source of noise if you intended to find a relaxing atmosphere. I'd be willing to give this place a try again since some of these issues appear to be service-related.

While Yum is a destination spot for baked goods and custom cakes, they also have a market that features a variety of treasures made by local vendors. Homemade bath and kitchen products are abundant, as well as jams and jellies, funny signage, clothing, and so much more. If you're in need of a creative and unique gift for any occasion, then Yum is the place to check out. Whether I've needed goodies for my days off or stocking up for a TV marathon night (Stranger Things 4 in one shot), YUM has always had me covered. I could sit here and tell you all of my favorite desserts, but then this review would turn into a novel. I will say that I leave there with at least two scrumptious cupcakes and several bars. Their 5 (or is it 6?) layer bar is outstanding and reminds me of the ones my Mom used to make for the holidays. It's like the one from the Eagle Condensed Milk can recipe, but so much better. If you see these in the dessert case, GET IT....or get 5, like me. They have a Facebook page, where they keep you up to date on upcoming sales and events, as they have loads of different products coming in from day to day. I love that everything is made from scratch and that they're supporting our thriving local community of artists.
