My car has a safety feature that will not allow a smaller fuel nozzle, which is typically used for gasoline pumps, into the fuel tank. I had to leave and go find another fuel station. I called the station to let them know about the issue. The person who answered did not believe my issue because "no one had ever complained about it before". She was very rude about it. I tried to tell her that most people would have just left and not said anything. I was trying to help. She said she would try and let the owner know - I don't think she will. At the end of the call, we said our goodbyes. As she was hanging up, she started laughing about it to someone in the station. Do not recommend this establishment. Go somewhere else.

Facility is well maintained and they have nice snack options. Restrooms were clean and in good shape. We did not gas up on this trip but prices seemed on par for the nearby areas we were traveling at the time. Overall solid and nice gas station. Good place to stop for a breather and refuel when on road trips. Also is down the street from a cool hidden Kentucky gem called Kentucky Stonehenge.

The cashier was counting cigarette packs and I stood there about 3 minutes waiting on him to finish. It was $7.99 for the tiny bottle of Nyquil, but I needed it so I got it anyway. The cashier rang it up at almost $11. I said that was wrong, the price said $7.99. He mumbled something I couldn't understand and just looked at me. I motioned to walk back to the aisle with me, and he did, and I showed him the price. He mumbled some more. I told him to just give me the right price and I'd be good. We went back to the register--I expected him to credit me a couple of bucks. He reached me back my $10 and took the Nyquil and walked away. I stood there a minute, then motioned to the Nyquil. He mumbled something else that was obviously negative, something about "you wanted a refund." I said no, I just wanted a credit of a couple of bucks to get the advertised price. He said whatever it rings up to IS the price. I left and bought a bigger bottle of Nyquil at the Thorton's for less money, and had a much nicer cashier. It's not the buck or two... it's the attitude that drove me away. If your employees aren't empowered to make purchases right, you must not trust them very much, and if you don't trust them, you shouldn't have them working for you.

We started using Hartland last year when we decided to fill our wood burning fireplace in with a…read moregas log insert. My husband was in charge of finding the best place to use to install and fill the two tanks. So, I can't take all of he credit. We lease two propane tanks and then when one tank is empty, we have them come out and swap it out for a filled one. The rate for the propane fluctuates, just like the rate of gasoline does. The insert burns 34,000 btus in an hour, if it's turned full blast, but we run ours on low, and only went through one tank last year. Keep in mind, we had a pretty bad winter last year. In addition to not using a huge amount of propane, our electricity bill decreased drastically because of the insert. I wasn't home last year when they came out and installed the tanks, but I was home on Friday, when they brought and switched out the replacement. The guy was super nice, I thought that he was a friend of my husband's. My husband said no, everyone at Hartland is super nice like that. That being said, I highly recommend a gas insert and using Hartland to service it.
