I live for fun specialty matcha and while they did have one on the menu, the pine flavors weren't appealing to me. Surprisingly, the real star of the show was the bagel. Not the avocado spread that was on it, that just tasted like that overly acidic stuff you get in the little cups, but the bagel itself was amazing. It was chewy but not tough to chew. I loved its soft doughy texture. They also had some vegan treats available that i'd love to try next time. I did notice their pan dulce was priced slightly higher than bakeries or grocery stores in the area but it was well worth it! It was delicious and not dry at all. The space is beautiful and spacious, and there were a few other people meeting and working there. The menu is interesting and they specialize in Yemeni coffee and other drinks. I got the Moka Roots latte at the recommendation of the owner, which was delicious with some light warming spices like cardamom. They also sell slices of cake and other goodies - I got a piece of baklava which was perfectly crispy and sweet. There is plenty of parking in the lot, and it's attached to the amazing Super Green Market. They also have an outdoor patio which I'd love to enjoy in the summer. Moka Roots isn't super close to my house, but I'm glad I checked it out and will definitely be back in the future.
