We were coming from Milford to go to Michigan adventure and our diesel truck fuel filter clogged and we limped to his Pennzoil store. He put a new fuel filter on and we left, had the same issue so turned around and drove 18 miles an hour on I 96 back to his store. He again did a bunch of things to test the issue and help the problem. Then he took our truck for a test ride to see if that fixed it. While my three sons and I were waiting his employees asked us if we wanted a soda or water. I cannot say enough nice things about this place.

I pulled into an Auto Parts store and had it checked, to make sure I was correct, it was confirmed that my oil was extremely low. I had passed Valvoline on Plainfield at I-96 and whipped back to have them take a look at it. I was immediately approached by an attendant, I told him my problem, he said he was on lunch but he would speak to someone and let them know, which I watched as he did. I was told to pull in, and again I explained my problem. Ben was the person who helped me, he told me they would check for leaks and anything else they felt would resolve the situation. He said, "No leaking" it looked good but I did need an oil change (I knew that). I wanted to know the cost, considering I had spent $400 the day before for brake job!! (I shared that info with him). He told me he would "Top off" my oil, check fluids, tires and ALL for FREE! UNBELIEVABLE, at a time when the economy SUCKS and most people are going through 'Ticket Shocks' the word FREE was as if someone threw out a life line. I am a woman, who often feels taken advantage of at most car repair shops and dealer ships, what Ben and the other Staff did for me was Phenomenal !!! Not only did he "Top-off" my oil but he "Topped-off" my attitude, "Let's Help one another Get Through This". Thanks VALVOLINE!!

Bring it to a proper mechanic if you cant do it yourself. cost will be about the same. and if you set it up right, they will do it while you wait in the lobby. AND they know what they are doing. Had car towed here from memory, my parents have gotten work done by superior. Granted my car sat in…read moretheir lot for 2 n a half weeks but I called every other day and John told me it was fine while i decided what i was going to do. I ended up paying in full for an engine replacement which took 2 weeks longer than was said. I was told a week, then tomorrow every other day after that. I say every other day because they kept saying they'd call me and never did ever even when it was "done". I also told John that i wanted to see the alleged hole in the old engine when I paid before they started the job and everytime i talked to him i reminded him then all of a sudden the old engine was gone and they couldn't show me. I also of course asked them to check the surrounding parts while in there like battery, alternator, etc. 2 days after completion I had to have my vehicle towed back there guess what i needed a battery, now im sitting here again possibly in need of an alternator or electrical work. But the day i picked up my vehicle i pull it out of the space, walk around and immediately noticed my passenger front wheel well cover is missing as im now looking at the inside of my bumper and engine there's also wiring hanging about 2 inches from ground. I go in and mention it to john who tells me it must not have been on there the mechanic didn't have to remove it to put the engine in. Im like wait... what? Also somehow tore up my seatbelt guide on my drivers seat and my air force lanyard i bought my gf. Anybody wanna guess what that wiring went to. The alternator. When i opened my glove box all the screws from the wheel well fell out. I really wish id read the reviews pay attention to who has complaints and who says their services are so amazing. I don't think they're incompetent i think it's a little deeper than that i also bought tires btw so don't think that the amount is going to make a difference. Oh and 04 cavalier i could have put this engine in myself just no time or tools.

Didn't check lights, tire pressure, wipers. I highly doubt they checked transmission fluid, or power steering, or anything else in engine compartment. A very subpar location.
