(With a police report #) Just personal insurance for me. I love my vehicle. I need it. :) I called my insurance Co. but alas, no discount but things are changing. I believe this will be mandatory in all cars soon as the thefts have been on the rise and continue to be. Many, if not caught on time are sent overseas in containers out of Montreal. No thanks. That said, the theft rings are in all cities so it pays to prep for the worst. (I pity the fool if I catch them stealing mine but the hospital/ambulance review then, pending!!!) LOL! My vehicle already had TAGS installed at one time, only good for five years. The windows still have the etching on them, 'TAGS' but I was still charged the full amount of the install/etching. With tax, over $460. Ouch. But, I made a little afternoon of it as there are places in the plaza to visit. On the phone making an appointment, they may tell you 2 hours is needed but mine was done in less than 1. I guess it depends how busy they are. I dealt with Kevin over the phone and in person and he was great to deal with. I'd recommend coming here and getting your car protected unless you have a hooptie that you don't care about or if you already have a 'new car GPS'. read more

Avoid this place unless you want your vehicle damaged and want to chase the owner to try and own up to their mistake. Had new set of tires drop shipped there to be installed. When I got my car back all 4 rims were damaged. Owner gives BS excise that his machine is so automated that could not cause damage. In yet tires that came off are ones I drove off of car lot with, so no other shop has touched them. Unprofessional and could care less about what damage that they do to your vehicle. OK it took a 3 visits to got my side door window replaced due delivery mix ups from Quebec where the window had to come from but the 3rd time i got a free window treatment for free because of the inconvenience!! This is for the Pro Oil Change portion of the business. Despite signs stating no pressure, no hassle. I experienced and observed the staff use sales tactics that will drive me away from this place once this service is over. Exemplar, up-sell to "higher quality" parts/oil, check items that were not requested. Did not top washer fluid because supplier did not delivered but did not bother getting some from adjacent gas station. Staff polite which is the only reason this is not a one star review. read more

I am going out of my element writing this review about an auto glass repair shop, because usually I'm only writing about restaurants.. and food.. and drinks... and more food. However, this was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had in Ottawa, and it happened to be at the Speedy Glass on Hazledean Road in Kanata. Random - I know. I got a stone chip is my windshield, and brought it in to Mark. He was amazing. His charisma and sense of humor had the whole waiting room smiling (which is a feat considering we are talking car repairs here). He was hilarious. Anyway, my chip was fixed in 40 minutes, and the staff even vacuumed the inside of my car and treated my windows with a semi-permanent equivalent to RainX. The best part? Mark took care of everything with my insurance and I left without dropping a penny (or a nickel, because pennies no longer exist). Go Mark! You're a rock star! read more

I made an appointment over the internet. When I showed up there and there was no appointment in their calendar. I was blamed by the service person for not receiving follow up a phone call "because it's on their website". I could even see that I was registered in their computer! No apology. No new appointment.
