I have driven by this one many times, and I'll be honest, I was hesitant until I read recent online reviews. This place is awesome! Clean and attended by a friendly cat! I went mid morning on a weekday, never saw a person. The have many machines and of the 15 triple load washers, only one was out of order. They have HUGE washers in the back by the dryers, great for sleeping bags and comforters. I am no longer bothered terribly that my washer is taking forever to be repaired. It's just no big deal for now to do it here.

Worst experience ever with Uhaul! I have been using them forever and this experience was so bad, I…read morewill never use them again. I was 9 months pregnant and my husband and I were helping my mother and grandmother move to be closer when the baby came. The customer service while picking up the truck was absolutely atrocious, the woman was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. When we were finally done we took the truck and it was shaky, by the time we got 20 minutes away to our destination it was shaking so bad we felt unsafe driving it. We took it to the local uhaul dealer there and parked it and refused to drive it anywhere so they could not try to blame the problem on us. We called corporate and we waited for hours for them to send out a technician, meanwhile we had to send our movers home after waiting for a bit (we could not afford to have them waiting around at $100/hr). We could not have them load this truck that was unsafe and take the risk of it really breaking down after loading. The technician finally arrived walked around and said everything looked good while refusing to go for a ride in the vehicle to actually feel the shaking then he left. We were furious, we called corporate again and demanded they send out another technician who would ride in the vehicle, after many more hours of waiting he finally arrived, he took a ride in the vehicle, looked it over and found that something was very wrong with the wheel bearings. He determined the truck was extremely unsafe to drive, he let corporate know. Corporate was not providing another truck for our move the next morning (btw this was an entire day affair 12 hours at least). We had movers arriving the next morning to load the non existent truck so we had to drive an hour to rent a Penske truck in the early AM (a time they usually only allow commercial pickup, but they made an exception for us). The Penske rental went so smoothly and the truck was so much nicer and actually 100 sq ft bigger than the same sized truck we got from Uhaul. If we had taken the truck Emerald City Laundry gave us on our move I'm sure we could have very possibly been in a very bad potentially fatal car accident. Putting my husband's life, my life and our unborn child's life at risk. UHAUL NEEDS TO DO BETTER. TAKE CARE IN YOUR CUSTOMER'S LIVES AND SAFETY. They just wanted to sweep the problem away without a care until we fought for hours on the phone and waited hours on end for technicians to come. This is NOT the way moving should go, it is already stressful enough to move! Moving companies should help make your moves stress free! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. PENSKE IS THE WAY TO GO, DO NOT HESITATE. Even though they are more expensive you get a bigger truck and a stress free moving experience with great customer service!

I have been to seamstresses in Boston who not only werent up to par with Brenda but also charged me A LOT more money than Brenda. I really truly couldn't recommend this shop more. She was a bit prickly and indignant, saying she has done all manner of complicated sewing on bridal gowns for over 30 years, and "OF COURSE" she could do this! After she had had my fabric, etc. for OVER 6 MONTHS, and I had not heard from her, we called her. She only then said to come in for a fitting of a muslin 'mock up', setting the appointment for a week or two later. She did some pinning to the mock up at that time, complaining a bit about the complexity of the pattern directions. I again asked her if she could do this or not, and she INSISTED she could. Again, we never heard from her, and again we called after close to a YEAR went by! She had us come in again, and this time my husband went too. The muslin pattern she had made had not been touched, and she had not even started to make the actual jacket! IT WAS NOW A YEAR AND A HALF SINCE WE HAD GIVEN HER A DEPOSIT, AND THE FABRIC, THREAD, PATTERN, ETC.! In this time she of course worked for many other customers who came to her long after I did! Now, it is July of 2012. Brenda has had my fabric etc. FOR TWO YEARS! We have NEVER heard from her since we were there at our initiation about 6 months ago! I need my outfit. Enough is enough. I have a small business as well, and I have NEVER treated customers this way! In the two years this lady has had our fabric, and agreed to make the jacket, SHE HAS NEVER ONCE CALLED US; WE HAVE HAD TO CONTACT HER! Today, July 24, my husband went to her shop to pick up my pattern and fabric, telling her she could just keep the deposit. Now, we are back to square one, and must find someone else to make the jacket we thought we would have two years ago! We feel that all of this was just so unnecessary, and could and should have never happened. We are very disappointed in this woman's unprofessional and uncaring attitude, and we regretfully cannot recommend her to ANYONE. Save yourself a lot of grief and stress and go elsewhere.
