Food is very good. Portions generous. Service is very slow. Seem to be a little disorganized.

We stumbled upon this place this morning and tried it on a whim. Boy am I glad we did! Food was excellent, portions were huge, and service was fast and friendly. Our server was very attentive and helpful when selecting things to eat. My kids were in heaven with all of the fresh fruit available and my husband who has been on a strict low carb diet, was also happily full with good that fit his diet. We had an awesome experience and will be returning next year on family vacation! read more

We eat here three days in a row. We liked this place because there were healthy options like oat meal and waffles with real fruit rather than pie filling that others pass for fresh fruit. The staff was very friendly. read more

This diner is one of the best I've ever tried-- and I love diners. Excellent service, spectacular food. Their omelettes make their punny name a true one. If you're a vegetarian, or just occasionally like to eat like one, ask for the Santorini omelette, even though it's not on the menu: tomatoes, spinach, onions, and high quality feta cheese (not salty and dry, but sharp and flavorful). I can also vouch for the Reuben-- easily in the top three I've ever eaten (they're one of my diagnostics for quality, and I try them often whenever they're on the menu). Fabulous place for breakfast/brunch. Just got back from eating there. Food was amazing & fresh. They have everything from fruit platters & smoothies to crepes to traditional breakfast fare and omelets. My favorite part is the fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice that they use in their mimosas. Yes, I said fresh grapefruit mimosas! Our server was Christina with an assist from Sandy. Both were friendly, upbeat and timely (which is actually rare to find in most breakfast places). Had lobster benedict, veggie skillet, and banana/ strawberry crepe -- everything was delicious and fresh! Portions are large enough to split and service is good. This will definitely be a new brunch go-to place. read more

NOT SO SPEGGTACULAR! very dissapointed. Food was cold and fresh fruits were NOT SO FRESH. Our berries had like small molds on them. Service was slow, slow, slow. And you ask for a coffee refill and they only fill it half way. Who does that!!! Our server had long black hair which were all over her back. AND ONLY ONE SERVER IN THIS WHOLE RESTAURANT!. that alone should have been enough of a warning for us not to go there On another note, we saw a cockroach on the patio outside! Wow what a great find! Food was fresh and fast. I got the breakfast club, like a BLT with egg on it. It had egg on both layers and the bacon was incredible. It came with a side salad and I had the home fries. So good! My friend had the eggs Benedict and finished the entire plate. He said the sweet tea needed a little work, but that is the only slightly negative. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. A gem! read more

We found this joint on our 2nd day on vacation in Clearwater and we were so impressed that we went back every other day (except one when we met friends in Sarasota). Each day the service was great, food was delicious and prices are good to boot! Our last day there was a bad experience, but I think they were just too short staffed. The server was all over the place, had an attitude and our breakfasts didn't come out prepared the way we ordered them. We sent them back and it took forever for the food to come back again, and once we finished we waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come back and bring our check. She dropped the check and left, and 10 minutes after leaving it my husband actually got up to go and find her. She apologized and was very nice, and asked if everything was ok. He was honest and said that the service was just not great and the food didn't come out good. She then proceeded to come over to the table where I was still sitting, and say "honey I'm sorry about your food...but I don't cook it I just serve it". Ok. Aaaaand we're done here. With that being said, it definitely didn't ruin our opinion which was 5 great breakfasts on vacation, but it was too bad the last day ended that way. read more

Treat your taste buds to a Happy Dance! This is breakfast on steroids folks and while their name is a play on words, the food and its presentation is truly spectacular! Let me start with the coffee (where else should you start right?).I can't stand a weak, watered down cup of joe and you're not getting that here. The coffee is deep, robust and flavorful. It arrives at your table hot and fresh and I've learned pretty darn quick that I can't stay away from it. If you're into the meek and mild stuff, just go to a drive through somewhere and leave me here to my own devices. My wife and I have been here 5 or 6 times now over the past couple weeks and between us have tried multiple menu items. No matter what you order, it always arrives with a nice compliment of fresh fruit and I do mean fresh! Doubling-down on the standard egg with bacon or sausage menu, these folks have dialed in on a variety of crepes with french cream and a veritable cornucopia of fresh fruit options, fantastic omelets, breakfast potatoes that will make your heart sing and more often than not, you can have it all on one plate (platter) should you choose. Plan on spending a little extra time so you can treat yourself at your own pace. The desire to offer up only the best quality here is abundantly clear. The staff is friendly and seems genuinely interested in making sure you're having a pleasurable dining experience. They serve breakfast and lunch and while we haven't been there for lunch yet, we certainly plan to. If an incredible breakfast experience trips your switch, go here! This place is incredible! The presentation is five stars, the portions are huge and the food is perfectly cooked. Never would you be disappointed in the wonderful staff there. If the food was the only thing I was rating, I would hands down give it 5 stars! Unfortunately, our service was sub par. Our waitress, Carrie, was rude and unbelievably unprofessional. My dad ordered the Speggtacular breakfast with the option of ham. When the food arrived, the plate had bacon. After mentioning he ordered ham (very politely) she brought out a plate of ham and insisted he give her the bacon back after already eating off of his plate. I have NEVER witnessed something like this. It makes me wonder how many times this happens and if this bacon ends up on anyone else's plate?! If management is teaching their staff to take food back after it's been touched and the plate has been placed in front of the customer, I would highly recommend this place find better management! I was then asked if I was done and if she could take my plate, I said yes, and handed her my plate after she proceeded to say, "ugh you'll have to give me a minute, do you think I can carry all of these at once?!" I don't know if I can return after this type of treatment! read more

**SERVICE WAS AWFUL** My boyfriend and I walked in and were greeted and seated almost immediately but after that everything went down hill. There was less than 10 tables sat the entire time we were there so they were by no means busy. After 5-6 minutes the manager approached our table and asked us if we knew what we wanted to drink, didn't apologize for us waiting and for never sending a server over, she then proceeded to take our order. Once the food came out no one ever checked on us to see how everything turned out or if we needed anything, and once we finished our meals we sat there for at least another 5 minutes until I decided to get up and politely ask the girl at the host stand for our bill. She took our card to pay for our meal and another server approached our table a few moments later to drop the bill off that we had just paid for. Prior to that she never had come to our table.The food itself was good, not amazing, but good. I will never be returning to that establishment due to the lack of professionalism portrayed by the manger and staff and complete disregard for the customer. I work in hospitality myself and have never been so dissatisfied. read more
