On the morning of our departure, we had gotten quite a bit of snow, but the plow didn't show up until after 10am when the front desk staff called them to ask if they could come. I thought they would have been there earlier. We ended up staying another night due to the weather (icy roads). Be warned that the only food in walking distance is a Carl's Jr. The lobby does offer a small market with microwavable meals and some chips, snacks, and cookies. The hot continental breakfast in the morning has lots to offer- yogurt, fruit, biscuits, eggs, Canadian bacon, and fresh hot coffee. If we ever find ourselves in Burlington again, we'll definitely stay here.

Not even a waffle maker. I shouldn't have to pay $200 a night almost then have to spend additional money on breakfast from restaurants since the hotel decided to refuse to serve breakfast...

She had her daughters participate in games without asking (a candy toss that was done for the kids, and the bouquet toss from the bride). Then come to find out she did call cops and had 4 of them sitting at the end of the drive pretty which I'm pretty sure is entrapment. She made the bride cry on multiple occasions because of ridiculous comments made and how she acted towards her guests and just many more things that I could go on and on and on about. The entire thing was rude, horrible, and disappointing. Like how ridiculous to make the bride cry on her day. In the long run, F*** this venue, F*** this b**** of an owner, F*** her Jacka** husband who followed people around as well, and I hope nobody wastes their time giving this lady their money. She doesn't deserve it. Only go here if you want a stick up your a** the entire event.

The lady who greeted us was very personable and quite helpful with information and directions to Monument Rocks and New Jersulem State Park The cultural center is located adjacent to the Buffalo Bill Sculpture which is a very large sculpture of Buffalo Bill and a Buffalo. Stayed in Burlington for a night , not by choice . Asked at the Best Western front desk if they knew a place where family can go for dinner at this late on Monday night ? Young lady told us to go over to the club, we didn't know if it was the right choice then but long story short , club was closed on Monday night but they where having a family and friends gathering that eve , chef decided to invite us in and cooked an amazing steaks and shrimp dinner for all of us .best part is When we came to pay for the meals, chef said he is not open tonight so there is no bill but one of the neighbors in the group named Gary and Judy Andrews wants to pay for the strangers meals, we thanked the people and left in tears , wish we lived close by this Burlington Jem, I never received a treatment like this from any other places I traveled. Excellent restaurant with a unique name. Coming back home after vacation, we stopped in Burlington just to grab something to eat and fill up the car tank. When we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly staff, who made us feel at home. The Chef/Owner, showed us the different meats to choose from and then personally cooked them to perfection. He served us dinner and sat down to talk to us while we ate. We were introduced to all staff and family who were busy preparing for a special occasion at the golf course that day. Our dinner was so delicious and juicy that my son commented, "it would be worth it to drive the 8 hour round trip just to come and eat here." Those steaks were the best we ever had at a restaurant. We arrived at Spices On The Green in not so good attire as we were coming back from a camping trip in Colorado. We arrived nervous that it might be too fancy for what we were wearing but the owner was super friendly and welcoming. I am, much to my dismay, on a ultra special diet for and autoimmune condition and asked him many of the same questions I asked on the phone previously weeks prior to the trip. He was so kind and said he could do anything I needed as far as spice, etc. The meal was delicious and he even put basil from his own home garden in it, YUM!! This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Located just a little out of town on the golf course, this place has the best steaks and salmon and salad bar. We found this one by accident and i'm so happy we did. Chef James and his wife always treat us like family when we come in and that just feels so nice, being away from home. He makes each night's soup from scratch which is pretty impressive. So thank you Chef James for doing all that you do for us each time we come through town. We appreciate it. read more

My absolute favorite place to eat in Burlington! I wish I lived closer and could visit more often. I've never had a steak that compares to what James serves. Cooked perfectly every time! I also love their Salmon. It's cooked in a banana leave which keeps in all the moisture and great flavors. And you can't miss out on having a Grouchy Margarita with your meal. My wife and I were spending the night in Burlington and wanted a place to eat, not fancy but also not fast food. We found Spices on the Green via yelp. Our hamburgers were large, high quality and perfectly cooked as requested, medium rare. We also had side salads from the salad bar. We ate at the bar and had good service too. I'd definitely go back, especially for a beef dish. It's clear they care about the food and take pride in the quality of their meat. read more

This is the best kept secret in Colorado. Alway have a great service from the friendly staff. Quality out bets high end place we have been to in Denver.
