I ride vintage motorcycles, and with that comes the risk of problems related to old age. My 81 Yamaha broke down tonight and I had to use my AMA Roadside Assistance. AMA was fast, and dispatched SpinCycle towing to tow my bike from a gas station to my house. I was expecting some dude with a truck and a trailer to show up. What arrived was a truck fully outfitted with lights and a hydraulic platform that actually lifted my bike safely into the back of the truck. Ive been riding for years and never knew there were tow companies just for motorcycles. It really was awesome how the truck worked, how great the driver was, and how fast their service was. My tow was covered by the AMA, but I would have been willing to pay every dime they asked for their service. If you ride in New Jersey or Eastern PA, you NEED SpinCycle's number in your cellphone! If you need to have your motorcycle towed, this is the only call you should make! My insurance company scheduled another tow company originally. This company said they were coming out that afternoon so I left work, drove 30 minutes home then they called and said they couldn't come until the morning. I took the morning off from work. I called after waiting over an hour where they said they can't come, they had other calls and maybe could come in a couple of days.
