Ive been seeing Dr Rachelle and Dr Kresio for over 10 yrs now…read more I ve had some lower back issues over the previous few yrs and hip problems They always ask me what i did the previous week [ before, when i first started seeing them, as a test I wouldnt tell them what hurts to see if they can find it]...and 99% of the time, they did! They'd make an adjustment and I'd immediately, in a few mins feel much better, than the moment i walked in. And sometimes I'd feel better the Next day as my body sometimes needs 12-18hrs to get through that adjustment correction - Im old, so sometimes yes, it takes time to heal and feel better in a day or two. the added bonus about GFC, is that Dr R and Dr K, have a program for sending you info, about training properly for injury / rehabilitation via YouTube videos = exercise's to strengthen your lower body for ex. or sore and lingering pain in your shoulder . Anything you need help with they'll email you about. Next thing, Dr K, will also send you info via Medical journals of studies with for ex) Osteoarthritis and getting injections - so he'll do the research for you with the the pros and cons of getting this done. DO some research YOURSELF like i do to verify his research. He's always spot on! If there's something they cant fix they'll be transparent about it and tell you perhaps , an MRI would tell more of a story for whats ailing you so Please go see your Dr and talk to them about whats wrong. another extra bonus, they also have a recipe e-book they can send you to help you with better eating habits they keep you on track! I had my first massage here a few months back and I was incredibly nervous because I didn't know what to expect, but once I arrived, all the staff were so incredibly nice and welcoming. My masseuse walked me through everything, and gave me an assessment (free assessment before your first appointment), and it was great learning about my body structure. The actual massage was 45 minutes and only $12! ($12 for Fanshawe staff, student and alumnae, $25 for general public) - no tax no tip. The clinic is also very professional, and ask for consent for everything. A few things to recognize: - Massages are given in one big room with hospital curtains creating separate spaces, and around 10 people can get a massage all at once. In other words, you can hear people walk and talk during your massage (not as relaxing compared to a regular massage clinic) - The lights are very bright, and since it's 1 large room, there's no way to dim the lights or turn them off - Their hours of operation are quite short, and sometimes booking can be difficult. Overall, I love the Mend Massage Clinic and I would recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff are very friendly and professional, it's not the most elegant clinic but it'll leave you feeling relaxed and welcomed.

But what I love most of all about Physiohaus are the people who work there. EVERYONE is attentive, professional and kind. But it gets better... My therapist, Miriam, is very skilled in manipulative therapy, and other modalities, including dry needling and ultrasound. Her assessment skills are awesome, but her encouragement and her applied skills to help me limber up earned my gratitude and loyalty!

It's not the vast experience she has or her long list of patients (it quite busy during the evenings) or the friendly and warm inviting feeling I get when I enter the front office but it's the Doctor's approach to all my concerns, queries and her understanding that makes her an outstanding Doctor. I first came to her when I had injured my left arm while lifting weights. I had done such a bang up job that I couldn't even put on a shirt without wincing in pain. After my second visit, not only was I able to move my arm but the pain subsided substantially. That was 2.5 years ago and I've been going to her ever since. I now see her once a week for maintenance !

It's a free event offered to all expectant and new parents. I spent the bulk of yesterday (10:30-3:30) there, and spoke with so many specialists - psychotherapist, nutritionists, massage therapist, lactation consultant, baby goods distributor, pre/postpartum fitness instructor, and of course Maya the chiropractor was there. Everyone was sincere and quite pleasant to chat with. There were workshops held each half hour, and rooms to breast/feed in and for babies/toddies to play in, in the interim. It was a really worthwhile experience, both times that I went. I think it's amazing, that this wellness clinic would do this for an expectant/ new parent community. ~ They are near Eglinton X Yonge st. If possible, I'd recommend taking the TTC there, OR there is indoor parking just west of a green P where the daily max. is $12, as opposed to the nasty $22. that I ended up paying.
