Before scheduling, I was told my records needed to be reviewed first, which I understood and sent over. I initially misspelled the email address but corrected it shortly after. During my follow-up phone call with Stacey, I was trying to better understand why I was being referred elsewhere instead of scheduling directly for imaging. Unfortunately, the conversation became unnecessarily tense and dismissive. I felt spoken to in a passive-aggressive and condescending manner while asking questions about the process. I understand medical offices are busy and stressful environments, but professionalism and patience matter, especially when patients are already confused or dealing with health concerns. People make mistakes, ask questions, and need clarification. The way staff communicate can greatly impact someone's experience. I hope the practice takes patient communication seriously moving forward, because no patient should leave a call feeling belittled for trying to understand their care process.

His staff is friendly, compassionate, and will go the extra mile to assist you with all of your needs and concerns. After my visit to the emergency room, I made an appointment to see Dr. Johanesmeyer. He saw my X-Rays and we discussed his plan of action has including Ankle repair surgery, fitting me with splints, boots, and physical therapy. I have been prescribed pain medication to hold me over until the surgery. He did advice that due to my multiple broken bones, i will experience arthritis. 3/29 @ 6am I underwent Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) is a type of surgery used to stabilize and heal a broken bones. In my case, I had 6 plus broken bones. 2 weeks later I had my post-op appointment. X-rays were taken and I waited for the doctor. Upon removal of my cast and bandages We discovered extensive swelling along with monstrous looking fracture blisters. I was in total shock. Dr. Johanesmeyer Explained to me what fracture blisters were and how to treat them. He also Explained the Titanium hardware in my foot ( I nearly fainted). He went over the process of the surgery along with the incisions he made around the fracture blisters and why. My stitches are neat, and the incisions were all in straight lines. I must say he did a wonderful job. Dr.Johanesmeyer advised me to return in a week to see if the swelling goes down enough to remove the stitches and fit me for a stabilizing boot. He also provided me with pain medication and Gabapentin for my burning, tingling, ice picks, and cold nerve pain. 1.) Office Staff : 5 2.) Location: 5 3.) Such a well oiled machine and this office runs on communication and professionalism. I have been going to Trident Pain Clinic now for nine years and feel so grateful to each of these people I come in contact with. Pain is a terrible thing to live with but if you are serious about finding the right solutions for your issues and willing to do the work that is required, then this is the place to go. So I been off this month with my feelings so I thought it was affecting my body I noticed I haven't been feeling like myself and having been peeing just like I should! The 29 is his birthday. I went to this doctor on 8/22/26. The first your girl took my vitals she told me my blood pressure was good but my heart rate was 170! Anyone look that up for a 69 year old woman! It supposed to be between 80 to maybe 100! But This wasn't mentioned by the doctor! I told her I miss my appointment the day before that a friend of mine had same medicine so I had gotten a couple to be replaced didn't try to hide anything! Well I tried to pee. I sit there for about 2 hours. I drank 11 bottles of water 16 oz. The new girl in the pee room act like some kinda of walking back and forth in front of me looking at me like anyone older would know how a chicken eyeballing you so she knows I drank everyone of them! I still couldn't pee! Now like I said I been going there for about 10 years never failed a drug test never did anything wrong! But with me no feeling good and my heart rate 170! Was watching drinking that much water besides what I was drinking when I came in! But no one care the my heart rate was 170, or that there might be something wrong with my Chinese deliver whatever helps you pee. I never pee until 7 pm that night.I had called the drug store while I was waiting I wasn't sitting there because I wanted to! Well the new Sergeant they have over the p rooms heard me call the pharmacy she called them and had them remove all medicines not just my pain medicine. She said we have to go you can't have your meds. I am under chronic care! The next day I didn't rest with out my meds and wanted to make sure I had drank enough to make them happy.they sure wasn't worried I might be getting ready to have a heart attack or stroke or my kidneys could be messed up just that they got there pee I would have gladly given them blood wood to check! I didn't have anything to worry about drug testing! After 10 years I never had a heart rate that high or could pee. I normally go in there and ask if I can pee in case they wanted it! I wasn't a half a mile from hospital they could have called and had someone come to check my vitals again they could have taken blood for drug test. Well the next day after being up all night couldn't rest! And trying to make sure I drank enough I am over an hour away from there I was stop in traffic behind a wreck! I got there as they were coming out! Well the sergeant said we closed there will be no meds this was on a Friday! That left me all weekend with no meds no way to get any. I always heard once people get old they do them this so they will go ahead and die from the pain. You can't eat or function like you should! I have called a lawyer he said that he wants a copy of everything said and did that day! If anything difference he will have laptop check to see if it's been deleted! They should have call the hospital had someone come to check me out! So don't put your trusted in these people they don't care if you having a heart attack or stroke or anything else but you better pee in that cup!! Well I don't know if I be able to get around very good Monday. I don't know what I going to do about getting meds! But I really don't want to deal with a doctor office would let me ride off and maybe have a heart attack and run into innocent family just being on the road it was Rush hour! Or that knows I in chronic care and knowing I have never failed a drug test in 10 years I'm 69 I don't plan to start now but was treated that way I've already turned them into the medical association so they will be finding out and pulling some records they deserve it I did nothing wrong to sit here and suffer like I have all weekend and still suffering! If that new sergeant thinks she was proving something I hope she loses her job cuz she don't deserve to have one when she doesn't care if you're I mean she just doesn't care what was wrong on top of me having a hundred and seventy heart pressure they can put that much water on top of it so they put in fluid on top of that high heart pressure that surely would have called something or could have called something but that was no one caring! You always had people there that cared Mr Owens is a very nice man and he doesn't deserve what's going to happen but if he wants people like that there I can't help it cuz he has not felt what I have felt this weekend or what I felt sitting there for 2 hours it wasn't for fun it wasn't pretending they could have called right to that hospital and had me check out right there in their office but that wasn't on their mind they did not care!

He had a Lateral Lumbar Interbody fusion and a Posterior lateral fusion w/laminectomy on March 1st and the 22nd of this year. The first surgery went off with a breeze but the second surgery was a different story. Todd's 2-4 hour surgery turned into almost an 8 hr. (Not the doctors fault in any way). What I was impressed with was that after 4 hours, Dr D'Augustino called me from the operating room and updated me. He gave me the reassurance that I needed. He didn't get his assistant or someone else to call, he did. The whole time we were in the hospital-which was almost a week after the 2nd surgery-he kept on top of everything. Amanda or Dr D'Augustino would come and check on us and answer every question. I say us, because although technically I wasn't his patient-he would still ask about me. Follow up- they explained how to take care of the bandages and always answered any questions. I know from experience that some doctors talk down to us or have no bedside manner-not in this office. We are always treated like family and respected. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for an appointment. In fact, because of an accident on 78, we were 30 minutes late and called-they worked us in as soon as we got there with no penalty. By the way, Todd is doing wonderful and walking with no walker and pain free. We thank GOD for doctors like Dr D'Augustino and Amanda- also the office team was always so sweet. I highly recommend and if there was a higher score, I would give it.
