This place is awesome!!! I came here for prom bouquets. Everyone here was super sweet and welcoming. The kind lady at the front desk helped me pick flowers. She was even honest enough to tell me the flowers I was choosing weren't gonna hold up for what I needed them for, she then directed me to flowers that would last and look pretty. She was very kind and patient whith me during the process. The bouquets are reasonably priced compared to other local flower shops, mine was $60 + $10 for the boutonnière. Love that every time I call I get an attitude. I would love if the person on the other end of the call liked her job. I tried to place two orders at two different times. This last time I only gave 4 days notice. And while I understand it is my fault for my lack of timeliness, a nicer person could soften the rejection just a little bit. I ordered flowers for my wife to be delivered to our vacation rental in Ocean City on our anniversary. My wife says they are the most beautiful flowers I have ever gotten her! I have to agree. Most florists have some "dud" flowers in the bouquet, but every flower in my order was full and vibrant. (She said any time I get her flowers it needs to be in OC!) Very disappointed in Spinning Wheel Florist. Ordered flowers online to send to my mother who is very ill. Upgraded the arrangement but when it arrived it looked like the smaller arrangement on the website Mistakes are made, which I certainly understand. But in my opinion their service needs to up their game. My inquiry got a ridiculous response - that they actually gave me a LARGER vase size so the arrangement only appeared small, unbelievable! I ordered flowers on the morning of 12/21/2020 to be delivered on 12/22/2020 to my parents. They never arrived and my card was charged on 12/22/2020. When I called on 12/23/2020 I was told "well we got behind yesterday". I never received a call/text or email that my flowers would be delayed. The only thing offered was delivery today (12/23) or a full refund cancelling my flowers. So essentially they have yet to put together my order and charged my card yesterday, the day they were suppose to be delivered. No discount or incentive offered to use them again. Just an "oops sorry we were busy take it or leave it attitude". Bad business. I too own a business and would never handle a situation in this manner. Linda did an AMAZING job for our wedding flowers this past September. I sent her photos of what look I was going for- bright colors, loose bouquet and for the tables most centerpieces were large palm leaves. I find these owners and their employees to be both rude,arrogant and self ritious. They have no clue how to conduct business appropriately. When there is only one supplier of goods or services in any single area/cummunity (Ocean city), the consumer gets screwed and the owners have no sense of customer service. I have found another very well managed florist on Shore road in Somers point. Under no circumstances would I ever do business with spinning wheel florist ever again. read more

I used Spinning Wheel to do flowers for my wedding. I can't say enough about how great it was to work with them! The flowers were beautiful, and Linda was incredible to work with. She was extremely easy to communicate with. We were in touch throughout the planning process...not just at what beginning and end. I had plenty of questions and changes...she didn't miss a beat. She was able to offer her professional experience as to what types of flowers would be good for different pieces (flowers for hair, bouquet, ways to spice up centerpieces without adding to the price), but never tried to talk me out of anything. I am very disappointed with the Spinning Wheel Florist! I ordered a dish garden (with flowers) to be sent to my granddaughter in the hospital in Colorado. First ,they didn't arrive while she was in the hospital but eventually after calling the florist, a plant arrived at her home. It was a flowering mum not a dish garden!!! I wanted her to be able to take the 'garden" to college with her to decorate her room but the mum did not survive very long. I am upset that I did not get what I paid for and I have contacted the Spinning Wheel twice . No one has returned my calls to resolved my problem. I asked for a refund (or a dish garden). I don't feel that I should have to keep calling them. I am a resident of this town and have done business with them in the past but if this is not resolved now, I will not be dealing with Spinning Wheel again. Disappointed. read more

Awful customer service. Wrong flowers delivered and not so much as a apology. In fact I was told that I got the better deal when they delivered roses instead of a rose arrangement. They don't get that it is the thought that counts. The biodegradable wreath Spinning Wheel put together for our family to set into the ocean as we dispersed my Dad's ashes was stunningly lovely. The ashes disappeared but the wreath floated along and stayed in sight, giving us a focus during the sad-sweet event. My family is grateful and I readily recommend this florist. read more

My husband sent me flowers last week. He choose an arrangement off their website. I wasn't too impressed when I received them, but it's the thought that counts...and I had no idea what it was supposed to look like. He arrived in OC Friday night (same day as delivery) and couldn't believe how lousy the arrangement received looked compared to their website picture. Saturday he called the Spinning Wheel, voiced his disappointment and said he would be bringing them back. So flowers and a refund happened BUT owner blamed the driver for the sub par arrangement!!! What?? Steve pulled flowers out? He made it look bad and then delivered it?? I don't think so! Beware!! Had my husband not arrived to see what they passed off as the ordered arrangement I never would have known. Imagine spending $50 plus $$ to send flowers and never knowing it was less than promised. Very poor decision for Spinning Wheel to send something less than promised and to not own up to the fact they missed the mark...and to blame the guy who did his job by delivering the flowers!!! I ordered a floral arrangement by phone on 4/24/18, with delivery scheduled for 4/26/18. Just called the recipient and found out that the delivery was never made. Checked my credit card account, and I was charged $59.70 for flowers that were NOT delivered. I tried to call the florist and leave a message, but of course there is no voice mail option.
