It says online that they close at 6, however they have a sign posted that they close at 5, and stop taking seatings an hour before close. My friend and I walked in at 4:04 since we didn't know any of these rules, and one of the workers came up to us and told us we couldn't paint. She wasn't nice about it at all and didn't even say since we were only four minutes past the deadline that we could just stay to paint and be out by 5. I understand that the workers wanted to get home, but it was four minutes late and these rules weren't posted anywhere on their website. read more

We enjoyed making our mosaic piece of art. They have a good selection of projects to do. They offer to grout the piece and finish it, that is included in the $$$. They took our information and scheduled our pick up of the finished item. I was unable to make the pick up on Monday. So, I call and the young lady told me no problem it be waiting for me. When I went to pick it up on Wednesday, a week after we made it, it wasn't ready. The girl asked if I could come back the next day for it. This is unacceptable. They had my number and could have called me to let me know they needed more time. Plus, I called to let them know they had extra day before I would be there. read more

I love this place. I would have given 5 stars except it's expensive. I took my 2 children and the three of us made smaller items. It cost roughly $75 for the three of us to make our items. Aside for the price it's great. They also offer art camp, private nights and classes. read more

Manager on site was great and accommodating but the lack of communication from the owner and inability to contact them is frustrating. I made an appt weeks in advance for my five year old and I while in town, only to arrive and have to stand in the sun trying to figure out why they were not open for our appt. Soon after was messaged that they changed hours(did offer a refund though)... ok so notify customers? Just seemed rude and inconsiderate. I didn't want to give them my business but my five year old counted on it so we went and it was fun/ clean and actually very fun. I think the owner just needs to decide on a way to communicate via a working phone/email etc. read more

We make sure to stop here every year and always have a blast. They are super helpful and accommodating, and will help you and answer any questions you may have. What an awful experience! We were a group of 4 doing a paint night party. There were about 20 people all together the night. For starters, we asked if there were aprons we could use and the owner told us she did not have enough, so no one got one. While demonstrating what to paint, she stood in front blocking everyone's view the entire time. We did not have enough time to finish and we were rushed out promptly at 9pm. She stood on a chair at 8:50 pm and asked who wanted to get in the group picture. While getting pictures with our half painted art, her helper took away our easel and paint. Before 9 pm, they had the tables cleared and set up for the next morning's class. We had to wait outside for our ride, and while there, the owner came out, locked the door, and went to her car - never even acknowledging us. Having been to 4 other paint parties, I can tell you that if you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable evening to create something you will be proud of, check out the studio in Somers Point. read more

So fun!!! I've never done the paint your own pottery/ceramics thing, but I had such a great time here. I went with my family (mother, grandmother and sister) for a rainy day adventure. The space is just a large room with a smaller "classroom" type room in the back, with a bunch of tables and chairs. There are shelves of ceramic bisque lining the walls. They have lots of different items from bowls and plates to serving platters and pitchers. They also have adorable little figurines, christmas ornaments, piggy banks and picture frames. You can choose to either paint the bisque with a variety of colors and do a mosaic with tile and mirror thats available. Prices are marked on the bottom of the piece and paint/mosaic materials are included. You can use as much paint as you want and stay as long as you need to. The girls who work there are really great. We had so much fun that we all ended up doing more than one piece and are planning to go back again. It's a great activity for a rainy day by the beach. Items take about 4 days to get back to you, and if you're only down for a few days, they'll mail them to you when hey're finished! read more

We love to visit pottery studios and paint and were so excited to visit this one....only to be extremely disappointed. the staffs lack of friendliness is a downer if you are on vacation and are STILL waiting to even receive our children projects (its been quite some time). I'm hoping that we caught them on a really rough day and things aren't typically so unorganized. Even so, we will stick to painting at our beach house if the mood hits!!:) read more
