what happened to the ice cream. that was the best?!?! never have slushy lids and most of the food is gone

This is our go to Spinx. My boyfriend pretty much only uses Spinx gas stations. He uses the rewards card and buys lots of sodas and food inside, which saves him money on gas. Just now, he filled up his tank and got $.30 off per gallon. You get $.10 off per gallon just for being a rewards member. He also had $.20 off per gallon worth of points. He also comes here for the car wash. He has a membership for it. It's convenient because there's lots of Spinx gas stations up here in the Ladson and Summerville area where we live. Many of them have a car wash. We can use any of them with his membership. This is our favorite gas station. Try it out. You won't regret it. It's always clean. The store is large and has many things to choose from. There's lots of pumps. There's a car wash! They have vacuums. They offer air for your tires too. Plus the employees seem nice enough. read more

I am overall, a fan of Spinx. They have a great selection of food & snack items, as well as hot food options like chicken fingers, fries, okra, and so on. The staff us usually decently friendly, but I am mostly impressed by how clean & organized it seems to be kept. You won't see garbage everywhere & that is always a bonus. I will continue to stop here for gas or snacks. read more

I know what your thinking -- how much of a reviewable experience can you gather from a gas station. My sentiments exactly -- however. All that I dislike in grocery stores and pharmacies, are exactly the reciprocal of what I like about Spinx. I dont like the fact that I'm not 100% sure how to pronounce it, the Sp part more specifically. They have what seemed like 20 pumps for fuel, absolutely no wait time and more than adequate store front parking. Inside you immediately recognize the cleanliness -- no papers on the floor, not a smudge on a window or any surface. The separate islands of concessions (coffee, snacks, hotdogs and much more) are easily navigated, we'll stocked and very clean. My wife bought a eight piece chicken box and when she got home she only had 6 pieces of chicken. She called the store and an associate told her to come to the store to get the rest of her food. When I got there the guy working told me he was the manager he has been there the longest. Come to find out he isn't the manager. He told me to go back home and get the box, I have called corporate and im waiting for them to contact me. read more

I enjoy Spinx, usually have clean bathrooms, least expensive gas prices, fresh food available or made to order is you want something different. I've used their car wash many many times over the years and here's where the disappointment comes in. The car wash recently damaged my vehicle, the same vehicle that has been washed many times before without incident. There is a sign posted on proper operating procedures which are always followed just as this time. After the damage I went inside and spoke with the GM. Pictures were taken, paperwork filled out, and I was told I would be followed up within 48 hours. Well.... 72 hours came and went, a message was left on a Wednesday and a second message on Thursday. Finally received a call back on Friday from the local store and told to call headquarters in Greenville. Spoke to Headquarters, they had no info, told me I needed to get a report, stated I already did, gave names local contacts and was told I would be followed up with. Once again nothing. Received a letter in the mail a week later and it stated: "we had 76 other car washes the same day as your incident and we consider this matter closed". I get it, you have a sign, do the right thing and fix what YOUR equipment broke. You're a multi-billion company that won't do the right thing by their customer. You've lost my business at this point. read more

Spinx in Summerville is a great place to get gas and drinks in and snacks. I really like the location on Highway 78 and Berlin G. Myers as it is easy to get to and fill up on your way. I like the ease of using the pumps and it is cool that the pumps take cash if I am in a hurry and need to do that form of payment. The station and store are always clean and well maintained and the pumps are always stocked with paper towels which is good when you need to use them to clean something up. The trash cans by the pumps are also well maintained and emptied as you can actually throw stuff away when you need it without the container spilling over from being full. Overall this is one of my favorite places to get gas and keep it moving. read more

On June 11th I entered store 352 in Charleston south Carolina. My experience was all negative and I was not the only customer at that time who would experience the same service. The male who checked me out looked high. The fountain was out of several items your employees could have cared less about customer. I will not utilize your stores again. read more

This is a terrific stop! Very clean, well stocked, and organized. My friend that I was with wanted to grab lunch here. Lunch... at a gas station? Really? I thought he was crazy. I was completely wrong. The chicken sandwich I had was better than a lot of fast food places I've been to. Really juicy and fresh. I definitely recommend. read more

This store is Always Filthy. Always long lines, Cashiers are Always Rude ! Bathrooms are Always Disgusting. Food is Always stale if you get the grab and go.. At least they are Consistent in a Trashy store and Rude Employees. read more

Probably the newest gas station in the area, it's conveniently located and best of all the pumps work well ( since they are new) they sell typical convenience store items, chips, soda, milk, candy and a large variety of frozen slushy/icee drinks. The staff appear friendly, no complaints at this time (2.05) per gallon today FYI. read more

First time visiting this store in Summerville SC.. Decided to try the food there! Order two sides at $1.89! Okra and potato wedges! After placing the order I notice an employee in back just eating his food. When he seen the orders he proceed to wash his hands without soap! Then put on gloves and fix our food! He gave old burnt potato wedges! Then proceed to give me 7 pieces of okra!! I went and got a refund from the manager! The employee went back to his food and watch us leave! He said that he was sorry and that I suppose to get way more than 7 okra. Ask me call the 1-800 number!! read more

The old lady named "Sharon" at the register is about the most rude woman I have ever met in customer service. I will not be returning to this location no matter how many $25 gift cards they send me. You can't pay off your customers instead of dealing with your rude employees. read more

The chicken livers and the staff here are wonderful. I love a place that keeps a bathroom clean so I don't have to worry about heroes every time ai take a shit. Gas prices are competitive and my son loves the slushy selection. They let you mix that shit!! read more

Purell at the gas pump-- need I say more? Who would have thought to give a gas station 5 stars, but this gas station deserves it. The parking lot is ginormous, and I have never had to wait at the pump. There is always a good selection of lottery stratchies (I love my scratchies). Every single time I walk into this store, I smell their chicken and think I must get some. I haven't done it yet, but it's going to happen soon. The store is clean and spacious. If I wasn't such a loyal Speedway fan (I love Speedy Rewards and Speedway soda) Spinx would receive all my fuel related purchases etc. This location's store is super spacious and I mean HUGE, the staff are always courteous, and there are a lots of gas pumps on hand. The only reason this location does not get 5/5 is due to their lottery/scratch tickets. There have been several times where I have bought scratch/lottery tickets that were no longer supposed to be sold. The SC Lottery mandates dates when lottery ticket sales for certain tickets are supposed to stop and this location doesn't seem to get the memo. Fortunately, the older tickets that I have inadvertently purchased are eligible for redemption (at least for small wins), but if I was to win big (not likely, but who knows) there could be a validity issue. I'm not a big lotto fan, so this isn't a huge issue, but if I was this would be a big problem. By the way, I haven't tried this store's chicken yet, but every time I enter the store around lunch time it smells fantastic! read more

Every time we try to get food at spinx they are either out or lose our order or take 20 mins to make it! I complained through the website and a manager called me. He apologized and said he'd be sending a giftcard. Guess what? It never came. Just further proves my point that spinx needs to get their act together! The car wash stopped working halfway through. When I called, no one answered. WTH? I went through a different Spinx car wash and the blowers didn't come on. My car was all wet. When I complained they informed me they changed the $5 wash so that it doesn't include the drying feature anymore. Headed over to Shell!! read more

Have used this station weekly, for a long time. the last 3 times I stopped for gas the pump stations are very often out of receipts when time is always important this is wrong, that's why from now I will not use spinx anymore. read more
