2nd review in the laundromat series. It's been a while since we've had to go to a laundromat, but we were washing blankets and quilts, and it's easier in a laundry place. This was our first visit at SpinXpress Laundry and I'm not sure there will be a second visit. The biggest issue was the amount of wash machines and dryers that were out of order or just plain broken. Not sure if this was an off day, but there shouldn't that many machines out of commission. It also didn't have many larger machines. The two I saw had laundry sitting there without someone manning the machine. The prices were slightly cheaper compared to the one we currently use, and they have more sitting space. But it wasn't very clean and some of the machines were smelly. Also, to add insult to injury, some of the seating area couches and seats were terribly worn and in need of repair. read more

I'm a new customer at blanco Road and I have noticed that Teresa is doing a very good job . I have never been to this store without her being busy cleaning , wiping and dealing with customers .I have at one time seen her in a high pressure situation where the place was packed and one washer was leaking pretty bad and customers were panicking and she was very professional . She knew how to stop washer and get it resealed and cleaned area and returned everything back to normal in a very short time . I hope she never leaves this place it's a good feeling when I see her there . She makes things right when anything goes wrong , and the store is always clean And she is always friendly no matter what she is dealing with Thanks Teresa ,keep up the good work it always pays off . read more

This place used to be a great place to do laundry. Plenty of washing machines were available, very clean, and the staff seemed to be attentive and cared about what they were doing. I can say that over the last year, it has declined, especially in the last 6 weeks. Today, I went in to use the laundromat and there were more washing machines down than were available, and the available ones were in use. I feel terrible for the staff that works there now because they have to put up with angry customers who ask them (as I did) when we could expect the machines that have been down, in some cases, over a month to be repaired. It's as if the management or ownership does not care about this location, or they are so cash-poor that perhaps the doors will be closed soon after they repair the door that has been broken for a month. read more

Place is a bit cramped and very busy; came on a Friday at 2PM. The A/C is also very weak, so moving as close to the entrance is ideal for a bit cooler location. Wifi was slow, vending machines were near empty and wish there were some fans for circulating air. read more

We got totally and completely screwed over by SpinXPress Laundry at Blanco & West. After being out of state for 2 weeks, we dropped off laundry for the Wash Dry Fold service early yesterday afternoon. The man who took the laundry assured us that our laundry would be ready for pickup about the same time today. We had to buy 2 laundry bags for our clothes. We returned around the same time to pick up our clothes on our way back out of town. The woman at the desk said our laundry was not ready. She said it was unfortunate that we'd been told our laundry would be ready today. "We have 48 hours to do your clothes." Yes, we were refunded for the laundry service that was not provided...but...they would not take the $8 bags back "since they had been used." We were promised we would have clean laundry today. That did not happen. We now sit in Louisiana with 2 bags of dirty laundry that we didn't count on having to deal with. And we had to pay $16 for laundry bags we have no use for. We really got screwed!!! read more

I had a washer that went on the mend and had to use wash houses in the community which I don't do often, but have had to use them frequently in previous years. Well although this location is newer and closer to home - it is poorly managed and not kept. There's trash, Chocolate pieces, and other items left in the machines. The first time I was there I had a woman struggling to open my running washer and when I told her those were my clothes and directed to the other 10 open washers right next to me it caused an unneeded issue. I was nice about it, seriously , but her people (pose) called me names in Spanish. Later when my husband came to help me to the car her man or son was asking me if there "was a problem". It was like the twilight zone. I sit watching Netflix or talking to my friends- family so the vibe of "a problem" was 100% on them. Probably just looking for a fight... Then I had money left over on the card and returned to run a quick 5 loads. The place was totally packed and half of wash/drying machines had not working signs. They only have one lady running the front. She looks overworked and really disinterested in having to work extra or talk to all the bored men which I'm certain often try to pick her up... trash fills up and there's mess all over the floor pieces left by the many hours of have 50-80 people in a small space. There was also 7pieces of travel luggage off to the side of the front work space. They were not orderly or nicely placed- Just thrown there. There are much better spots in SA to get your clothes clean. read more

Wow...! SpinXpress is not the the laundromat-meets-bar that I was searching/*hoping* for (whomp!) - WHY is that not A Thing in town?? Get it together, San Antonio! - but it's wayyyyyy better than the grody coin-op pit that I remember from the last time I had to visit a laundromat. --24-hour. Bright. Modern. Staffed by a superhelpful gent. (None of the creepy rape-whistle vibe I was expecting at 1:00 a.m. - awesome!!) --Large banks of high-capacity machines, all operated by a reloadable card. ( I just needed to dry a large load - Helper Guy was able to turn my pocketful of quarters into a couple bills so I didn't have to load a full $5 on this card with my debit since, with annnyyyy luck, I'll never have to come back to a laundromat.)(Total plus though, that you CAN use credit/debit) --ipads and TVs. A couple different comfy seating areas. Device-charging stations (LOVE!) --reasonably-priced wash&fold service available --popcorn Hopefully my new washer & dryer are delivered this week as scheduled, and I never have to cart baskets of band/brewery t-shirts across the Earth to tumble the Great Dane glitter off agai, but... I stopped in to wash a small load of clothes while on vacation. You have to put $10 on their card to use the machines and we didn't have enough to use all $10. I asked the lady on duty and she ended up helping us out with a free wash so I wouldn't lose $7 to a card I would never use again. Great service! read more

First off, they lost my sisters laundry. They gave it away to a total stranger. They seemed unphased when approached by the problem. They were so unorganized when trying to "fix" the problem. Waited an hour until someone arrived at home and realized they had the wrong laundry. Who knows if she even received all the clothes. read more

Very clean the building the washers the entire environment spacious friendly staff free Wi-Fi they're open 24 hours which is a plus they also can do your laundry for you I will be back for my laundry needs I really really enjoyed this place nice and cool can't say enough about a place like this read more

I went here for a couple years. Today closed sign on door without explanation. I called every shop in San Antonio and it disconnects immediately. Even called Houston and the main office. Same thing. Apparently they are going out of business and taking the money on our cards with them. read more

It's good for what it is. If you're looking for a place to do laundry this may be one of the places if you're in the area but they only take deposits for the machines through their "SpinXpress Card". Which you have to purchase and load money on one of the self serve kiosks the ladies that work there are helpful at sometimes, some might say they have attitude and/or don't like people but try your best to figure out your problems before going up to them. There is a a lot of washers and dryers to use here and expect the place to be a bit busy especially on The Weeknd's. There is a small area for kids to hangout but it is very small so limited on how many can be having fun. Overall it's a good for what it is, a laundromat. read more

AMAZING!!! Customer service, cost, convenience, and cleanliness are their priorities. My wife and I found this place randomly when our dryer outlet went out at our duplex and our landlord is still having issues fixing it. (Still not working and it's been 2 months ) But the staff never stops cleaning, the bathrooms have always been immaculate and stocked. They offer complimentary popcorn, have snack/drink machines, and plenty of comfy chairs to sit while you wait. There are several other amenities if you choose to do your laundry yourself. But we just moved into this duplex and laundry was piling up! SpinXpress has this amazing deal where you can buy a bag, a one time purchase, that holds at least 6-8 loads of laundry, and they wash/dry/fold for you for $30!!!! It's been a lifesaver!!! So we bought the bag on our first trip and have taken multiple loads of laundry. You just drop off your bag and answer a few questions. Takes maybe 5 minutes. They offer all kinds of options when it comes to temperature, detergent, fabric softener, and you can even get your linens/comforters done for a small extra fee. They make notes on your account and make sure everything is done exactly as you want it. Plus, they fold it, and bundle stacks with ribbons so everything stays nice and wrinkle free. AND they text you when it's ready and it's a guaranteed 24 hour window. It has been such a stress reliever! The staff is so friendly, and they never stop cleaning and making sure everyone is taken care of. Even if you're doing laundry on your own, they check in and help with any ?s and make sure you're satisfied. Kristina helped me set up my SpinXpress card, which offers points/rewards and always makes sure we are taken care of. She's so sweet and helpful even at 1:00 in the morning. We even met the District Manager, Mark, on one of our visits. He took the time to introduce himself and make sure we were happy with the service. Seriously?? How often does a DM take the time and effort to show their appreciation at any business? We have been impressed since our first visit and will probably continue to come here, even if our dryer outlet gets fixed. We have just felt so appreciated and taken care of, plus we haven't had to wash/dry/fold multiple loads of laundries for a mere $30.00. So do yourself a favor and visit your closest SpinXpress. My wife and I are in customer service and work at least 50-60 hours a week and this has been a Godsend. Totally worth the . We feel so lucky to have found this place. My second visit. Clean, safe and busy. Washers are easy to use and really get laundry clean. I used the same one for what would be five loads of regular use. The dryer is awesome, everything dried in thirty minutes. Lots of counter space to fold items, and was able to roll the cart to my car to make only one trip! read more

Before today. I would've definitely given 5 stars to this place. Yes, It's 24hrs. Also, a safe apostrophe. After hours. Today I walked In to a huge mess. I'm talking about it's 1am... slow.. but the woman that works here is to busy checking her phone. There's piles of trash through out the whole place. The floor looks like it hasn't been swept all day/days. The tables have leftover food on them. Plus being sticky already with who knows what.... lint and trash all in front of the dryers... I decided to come here because I saw that it was 24 hrs. I was nervous to come alone at 11:30 PM but I definitely feel safe. It's very bright and clean. The guy on duty was very nice and helpful. He could tell I was new and immediately explained everything to me. I love that they have automatic doors. It makes it much easier carrying your laundry in. They also have snack and drink machines with plenty of seating. They even have a "fun zone" to help keep the kids entertained with iPads loaded with games. Plenty of TV's to help the time pass as well. I'll definitely be back! read more

I think I'll stick to doing laundry at my apartment even tho the machines at my building may or may not work sometimes. I went in at 7am and whenever I go, I like to wash my hands after I put my laundry in and before I leave especially with COVID goin on. I notified the lady with piercings in her face that there was no soap in the bathroom and said ok but she seemed to preoccupied leaning over the counter by the register taking selfie's. I was maybe 1 of 3 people in the laundry mat so it's not like it was busy. She didn't go and refill the bathroom and instead did everything else but refill it. Finished around 830 and went to the bathroom to hopefully be able to wash my hands but nope it was still empty. Never saw any wipe down in between customers or glove wearing as stated in the guidelines as stated. Only thing they seem to care about if you not having your mask down under your nose cause they will tell you to pull it up. They don't seem to care about sanitizing or having soap for customers to keep their hands clean read more

My 1st time coming to this place spin express for our laundry and I had a bad experience of bad experience of not able to get money on a card not to get the car to get reloaded and the wash is not having a water and not showing any soap so far I haven't even done the drivers yet I can imagine what that's gonna be and if you can't use what ever money is left because of the machines not working right there is no refunds...... very bad business but the attendant was very nice and helpful practically all washers and dryers are not working all tvs are not working and there is not one vending machine with any food or drinks so sad for the consumers read more

I happened to have an allergy to fragrant additives and was really not looking forward to washing my clothes in the fruity fragrant detergents. I asked the attendant named Mindy if there was any non fragrant detergents and she told me about the new 100% recyclable hypo allergenic washer sheets. She then took a few minutes to try to locate them but sadly they weren't in yet. She was very helpful and super cleaning the entire time I was there. I am severely allergic so I appreciated the compassion she showed to my ailment and didn't blow me off or downplay the seriousness of my allergies. My washer broke so I was googling places to take care of laundry. This place has it all. Chargers for your phone, candy and popcorn while you wait... plus they sell anything you forgot. I don't use laundromats very often, but this place makes me want to! Very clean! Lots of options for relaxing while waiting. There was a slight learning curve, in that you need to purchase a "spincard" and not insert your own cc in the machine. It was pretty quiet until about 1030 am on a Sat, when families started coming in. But they even have a fun zone for the kids to use tablets and play games on them. Pleasantly surprised! read more

It started off great when they first open, but than the new staff they hire don't take any pride on keeping it clean with all the people that come in. I've seen one of the staff member eating popcorn and folding clothes like how bad is that clean the clothes than wipe the greasy fingers on the customer clothes. Most of staff just hangs out in the front and plays around on their phone when they can be cleaning up. The staff should tell people to not hang on to carts when their not using them. Bright side the machines work but it won't take long till it starts looking like the rest of them cause people ain't shit. read more
