I have been going to wash my clothes at WavezMax Laundry for several years now, ever since they opened, well this time around, still the same thing, clean laundromat, spacious, friendly staff, especially (Elisa). Yikes! Rough crowd n crazy music aside, went here about 9AM. Wash cycle didn't start for 7 minutes, the spin cycle took up at least the 7 minutes and VERY little water during the way too brief wash and rinse cycles (about 5.5 minutes each). Expensive driers. Luckily, I have a friend in town who said I could rewash these clothes at her place. read more

Have you ever pulled up to a laundromat and been greeted at your car by an employee delivering a laundry cart to you? If not then go here for that experience. Super helpful staff who keep everything including machines so clean you literally question if anyone even goes there. The washers are load balanced AND during One of the cycles sanitizer cycles through your load and is distributed according to the weight of your laundry. The dryers are the best I've ever used and I hardly ever have to add time even to a dryer for nothing but jeans. Washers take less than 30 minutes and dryers take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. I average about $25 to wash and dry 6-7 loads. I will never go to any other laundromat in San Antonio and I have used quite a few. read more

I've never been to a laundromat before, so I was careful in reading up on reviews before I chose a place, which ended up being this location. Some of the reviews were negative on Google, but I took a chance. Now having done laundry here, I think it's safe to say a lot of the previous reviews are woefully outdated. At least for my experience, it was very fast and painless. There are plentiful washers and dryers, with the cheapest washers being $2.25 for one cycle (pretty decent load - see picture) and dryers being $1.25 - that's a great rate for a laundromat compared to other places I researched! The washing cycle takes 22 minutes while the dryer takes 25 minutes, so I was in and out in an hour. The staff was also very friendly and greeted me, the WiFi is good for 30 minutes (guest trial), and the overall place is very clean. Lastly, I brought my own basket, but they have little carts you can use to wheel your clothes around (also see pic). For a first experience, this was great! Trust in the more recent reviews - this place is worth coming to for laundry needs. PROS: - low price tag ($2.25 for med one wash cycle, $1.25 for large dryer cycle) - friendly and helpful staff - well-maintained and clean area - Dollar to quarter converter machine (takes $1, $5, and $10) - small waiting tables & stools - TVs and free 30-min WiFi - ceiling fans to keep the place cool on a hot day - not super busy (came on Sunday afternoon) CONS: - none so far! will be revisiting this place again read more

My washer broke and I was still unsure to use a laundromat during this pandemic, but this one was rated high so I decided to give it a try. Luckily it wasn't busy at all so I guess I was lucky. Probably one of the cleanest laundromats I've been too including when I was in college. The price were average I guess, although it's been a long time since I've used a laundromat. They have manager there and also sell laundry products if u forget or don't have any. Will use again, if I don't fix my washer in time. read more

I had been waiting for this laundromat to open for months. Now that it is open I could not be happier. It's super clean, usually quiet, and quality washers and dryers. That is just the beginning. The owners are are very friendly and love to help any way they can. They also run specials from time to time where you wash and they pay for your dry. I have been all around town looking for a place to wash clothes with out the hustle and bustle of fighting for machines, dodging kids, or dealing with dirty machines. Unfortunately my washer and dryer broke. I waited as long as I could to pack it all up and look for a laundromat. Looking online I found WaveMAX laundry; I called to ask information. The girl that answered the phone was very knowledgeable and gave me directions to her location. Even though WaveMAX was quite a ways from my house I opted to go there based on her great customer service. When I arrived at the laundromat; I was in awe of how nice and clean it was. It certainly was not the laundromat that I remembered from the past. Emily took time to show me all the different sizes of washers and dryer's, explain to me the different items that were available for sale, and offered her services if needed. This is the best laundromat service I've come across in my area. The place is always CLEAN ! Nice restrooms too! Charlie, the proprietor, is always friendly and welcoming. Nora is always working hard with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude. There's always plenty of room to do my laundry. Very open and spacious. The machines use dollar coins y'all! I'm a 40 year old married man with 3 kids. I have been lucky enough to have had a working washer dryer for 20+ years. Well a couple of weeks ago it finally died. Well I needed a quick fix and found this gem close to my house (Castle Hills). First I started using their laundry service which is very reasonable. My only surprise was how amazing my clothes smelled! I had never had my clothes smell and feel so amazing. After I became known as a regular I asked the management what their secret was. This is when I realized I had been washing clothes wrong my whole life. I decided to bring my laundry to learn. Well, they walked me through the whole process. Showing me the tricks of the trade. Omg super impressed. Came from out of town. While my daughters visit a cousin for her birthday. I had so much laundry to do. My husband decided to join me. We're so glad we decided to come here and do our laundry. We felt super safe, the music was awesome (tejano).. the staff older gentleman super cool and down to earth! We are here laughing at a show on tv fail army while we stand and wait. Will come back again!! They even have complimentary coin cups and sell detergent for a great price. This was a great deal. Io am it town for business and had my stay extended. I did not have time to sit at a laundromat and watch my clothes wash and dry. My hotel laundry is terribly expensive.
