When I called this office with my concerns, they assured me of their special approach with fearful children. At the appointment, my son cried & resisted as soon as the dentist attempted to look in his mouth, and the dentist immediately gave up, with no attempt to try to work the problem. The dentist immediately stood up and said "that's it, i'm done". I would've been more understanding if he devoted some time with multiple attempts, but not only did he not even try, his response was unprofessional. They also still billed my insurance for the office visit. I supposed it's also worth noting that when I arrived, the receptionist was mildly rude and uninviting; I stood at their counter for a few minutes before she and another woman finished their personal conversation, only then did she finally acknowledge me, with not even a hello or any other pleasantries.

To start.... My wife called them because our daughter had pain in one tooth... For obvious reasons…read moremy wife asked if they use our insurance and they said yes( csea is a very common insurance and normally covers 100 percent of general dentistry) After her initial visit they claimed she had 11 cavities so we went ahead and had them filled.... Then we get a bill in the mail for 1440.00! My wife called and said to them" I think that there's an issue maybe you used the wrong insurance codes". The woman very rudely said to my wife" we never told you that we accepted your insurance".... Now why would anyone in the right mind go to a dentist that doesn't accept their insurance? Or even go to a dentist without checking if they accepted or insurance? So back to the 1440.00... I had them send me a bill so I can see what was going on and this is what I get(photo below)... Now if a company doesn't "cover" insurance why wouldn't they state that when they took our card at reception? And where's the rest of the bill? It just says balance forward. From now on I will Yelp every service beforehand. And trust me I'm taking steps to make sure these people never do this to another person!

He wanted me to set up an appointment for it right then and there. I told him I would plan on getting my wisdom teeth out, but wasn't prepared to set a date for it. I teach--that was an awful time of year for me to consider taking time off, and I was also about to switch jobs and insurances. He demanded an explanation (I'm an ADULT, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm trying to get out of being disciplined), and even asked very sarcastically how old I was, like I was being unreasonable for putting off a surgery for something non-urgent (my wisdom teeth do not cause me pain) until I was done teaching my students,and until I knew what was happening with my insurance. Never went back. His assistants are very nice, but he is going to ruin his own practice if he doesn't start treating his patients with respect.

I aspire to love my neighbor as I love myself (everyone I meet); both selfish and selfless I suppose. One review said, "life is full of waves; pain and pleasure.. gain and loss.. contention and defeat..." But I know of one who was completely selfless, who lived a life full of suffering and loss, and offered his life in our place-- for our human condition.. who hasn't remained aloof and distant from our condition, but has himself become a part of it. He lived on our level of humanity to offer the free gift of eternal life instead of remaining eternally separated-- his predestined plan. We're all sons and daughters, a thought in the mind of the one who made us in his image, who wants us and sought after us. What could God possibly be doing hanging on a 'tree'?
