I was able to find a few items from Target however not the Complete outfit for Harry Potter. I remembered this location from driving past a few weeks before so decided to visit after work. It's been over a decade since I have visited a Spirit Halloween and the last one was in the San Jose area before we moved here over 6 years ago! Now after visiting and spending time in here I wondered why I had not been in one for all these years! EVERYTHING that is needed, maybe needed, didn't realize needed but should consider to need is at Spirit Halloween! The prices are a bit high however the quality of the materials and products are high quality so can ensure will last for years to come and not break down or need mending. I was able to find everything needed for a Harry Potter costume and also found items for my own vampress costume as well! Saw signs everywhere for clearance starting the day after Halloween and then each day afterwards even further markdowns! I was going to go back and pickup more items for the years ahead to keep stored in our garage but didn't get a chance to go back. This year I will surely visit again and take advantage of the clearance sale!

We ended up giving up and just going to get some food and came back to try the pirate shop again, and low and behold, who is the lady behind the counter? The rude one from the SUV outside earlier. We then turned around and left. No reason to support them if they are mean and scolding to customers and show up to work whenever the heck they feel like it. If you want customers, those customers need to be able to feel confident in their attempts to visit. All around bad vibe, sadly. Too bad as a store themed around pirates was more than intriguing. My son lost his pirate hat at school the day before Halloween. I drove around to 10 Stores. From Goodwill to Spirit. Elk Grove, Sacramento to Carmichael and Rancho Cordova looking for the type of hat he wanted. I came in here and they had 4 or 5 different styles. From the inexpensive to the highest quality. While spending 15 minutes in the store I saw many procrastinators come in looking for help. And they did just that. Helped them find the perfect costume. This store truly had it all. Lastly stop asking for white contacts in the store. This is done online. You must have a prescription (It's the Law) and they get shipped to you. This was something I heard asked many times and even a couple phone calls about them. These are costume people not eye doctors. Like all Spirit Halloween shops, the merchandise leans towards the scary, ghoulish side. They have a haunted section in the middle of the shop with animated creepy figures. Those figures range from $200 and upwards. The more creepier, weird merchandise is in the back of the shop. There is a small section near the front door for infant, toddler, and kids costume. But parents be forewarned that children may find the shop too scary. I even thought that some of the merchandise was sad and disturbing. A major downfall to this location is that there are no public restrooms. Keep in mind, the shop is out in the industrial boondocks. Plus if you buy items in store, check out their website for coupons. The cashiers will not remind you or voluntarily apply any discounts. The in store return policy is 14 days for unused purchases with a receipt up until 10/22/22. After that date through 10/28, exchanges can be made. After 10/28, all sales are final. The shops are seasonal, they are temporary locations that close after 10/31.
