Lyle Marsh has a very large and modern play area. Lots of things for kids to safely climb (photos). It has plenty of space for Moms (and Dads) to have play dates for their kids. There are benches and covered picnic areas in several locations throughout the park. Nice! It might be from my years of playing too much SIMM City, but towns who invest and provide first rate facilities for their citizens seem to "get it" and continue to grow. Enjoy!

After speaking with other people at the park, we were told the City of Temecula does not currently have plans to reopen it. There is a massive toddler playground with its own separate swing set, along with a larger playground for older kids. It is honestly a nice park, and the closed splash pad is the only reason I am giving it three stars.

There are playgrounds, of course. Plenty of tables and chairs placing under a cover around the playground. People could come out here to play basketball, baseball, soccer, football, flying kites, walk, run, and pickleballs. Restroom is available. Parking lot is not a lot, but I didn't have any trouble finding parking. Having a birthday party? I think it's a great place to have fun and celebrate. One thing I wish the park has is a couple polls holding dog waste bags. As a dog owner, I carry dog bags with me when I walk my dog, but people can forget to bring them. Having this essential item available will help to keep this park clean.
