And heard a number of things: You're a leader, not a follower; You've had a detour the past few years, away from your true destiny; Your soulmate is searching for you; It will take between a year and a half to two years before this all works out; Various things. Some of which were interesting and semi spot-on. Could be psychic, or she could've heard my discussion with the older gentleman in front of her office. (Her husband, perhaps?) Anyhow, she spoke to me about my aura, etc., offered to do a natal chart among other things and have them ready by the time I came back next week. $360. $360? Well I said I'd do anything on this trip...so bye money. *cha-ching* She said she would work on this, told me not to tell ANYONE I went to see her or about the reading. Etc. etc. until I saw her again. I'm supposed to come back before 4 on the next Saturday but calls earlier and says she's ready, has some stuff for me to use. I walk in there and see maybe $1.37 in candles bath salts and what not. (OK, maybe $2.37. $3? OK maybe $5.) No natal chart, says there's a lot of negative energy blocking my chakras, preventing me from moving forward. And, of course, my aura was cracked. I knew where this was headed, but I waited for her to actually get there. She told me to use the candles, etc. in a specific way for several days when I go home. Also that she would need special crystals that she would have to handle before sending them to me. She kept asking me, as during the previous sitting, "Do you understand?" Yes I do. So she said they couldn't be just any crystals, they had to be pulled from the ground (paraphrasing), untouched by anyone else's hands. And they weren't cheap. The $$$$$$$$ signs were mounting in my mind. I finally hit my limit and noped the Hell out, her words of entreaty clinging to my back as I hit the warm dry air on the street. Ahh, the smell of freedom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Folks, I have an open heart. And I even opened my wallet as a sign of good faith. But what I expected from a responsible psychic therapist would've been more along the lines of, "Sorry, I can't help you like I thought. You're going back home, you need more hands-on assistance so I suggest you go seek someone local to help you. This long distance thing will only complicate things." (Yeah, like some relationships.)
