Nonetheless, a trip to the next door beauty supply and favorable memory of a tech here being willing to do a quick "glue fix" in the clutch approximately a year ago, led me to Nail Image. The decor is a little dated, and it reminded me a bit of stepping into an older family members space - where they've saved/accumulated things overtime - but it was noticeably clean and quiet (MAJOR pluses). There was only one tech present and she gave me the wait time and continued servicing her client. She didn't seem overzealous for the business, quiet and kind acknowledgement but definitely focused on her task at hand. I wasn't quite sure what to think but figured I'd give it a go. Needless to say that was the best decision, the same focus the tech was giving the client when I arrived, she gave me the same. No interruption, no hurry, no angst to get to the next person - even with them waiting. Amy (which I'm learning from reading reviews post visit) is the owner and gave a PHENOMENAL pedicure and manicure. She was detailed and the work spoke for itself. She did little talking, but maintained kind customer service. From what I saw, I imagine she interacts more when you become a regular (which I will be). The pricing is comparable to the area salons, and again the work was great. A bit of nostalgia, it's been a minute since I went into a salon where they were showing lifetime-esque movies...I loved watching some randomness and getting completely enthralled. Reminded me of the days when I used to come into my favorite shop and pick a movie and literally stay for the whole thing (even after my nails may have been finished/dry). I was impressed and I'll be back ...I guess I can grow my nails out again.

Update: it's been three days since I got my nails done, one has already chipped. I've never had an…read moreacrylic chip within the first two weeks of having them done. I went back to get it fixed and they're closed, even though their hours on the door say open 10am today. Not a fan anymore.

I've been a customer of this salon for years and regularly visited before it was sold to the new owners. I always had positive experiences in the past, which makes this review even more disappointing to write. I originally got a French tip set on 5/21. By 5/25, almost every nail had popped off. I've been getting my nails done for years and have never had a full set fail within four days of normal wear. To their credit, the salon offered to redo the set on 5/26. A different technician completed the redo, and while I appreciated the effort to correct the issue, the nails were much thicker and bulkier than I requested. The shape was better, but they still didn't have the clean, natural look I was hoping for. Now, despite the redo, the French tip polish is already chipping. To make matters worse, the gel polish on my toes is also peeling around the edges. At this point, I've had durability issues with both my manicure and pedicure. I understand the salon was recently sold to a new family, and transitions happen. However, as a paying customer, I can only review the experience I received. Between the original set popping off within days, the bulky replacement set, the chipping polish, and the peeling gel pedicure, the quality simply did not meet my expectations. I appreciate that they attempted to make things right, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. Unfortunately, after multiple issues with both services, I won't be returning.

I was looking for a nail salon to get a pedi before vacation and stopped by here. There was only 2…read morepeople working and they were both taking care of another patron and I waited for a good 15-20 minutes before getting started. I was thinking that's okay it's a Sunday I have no important place to be and waited. During the pedi ($27), she didn't include the leg+foot scrub+massage as per usual and just went straight to lotion. She also took the time to scrub off throw away foot scrubbers and tools infront of me which made me think like this may not be the most sanitary if throw away scrubbers are being cleaned and used again :( I also had to wait another (what felt like 10 mins) just standing there before being able to pay whereas less honest people have a chance to leave which I found weird :( All in all, it wasn't a terrible pedi but it def wasn't the best I wasn't too happy about the shaping and paint job but it's okay for now. It's a pretty small salon. I won't be returning but I commend the very nice respectful customer service The pictures of some other patrons on here look very different than what it is now so I am assuming the good reviews were for previous owners

Her advice improved my waves and it occurred to me that this shop is more than a typical beauty supply.
