When the ache in my hands became too much for me to handle and I couldn't stand to look at my nails any longer, I set aside my fear and walked inside. I was greeted by a sweet woman (she may have been a trainee. I am not entirely sure. Unfortunately, I did not get her name.) She was so kind and very friendly as she got me started. Nicky, one of the lovely nail technicians there, took over my care and designed my nails exactly as I wanted. I'm obsessed with them! As I was getting ready to leave, another kind woman (who I believe may have been the owner. I sadly did not get her name either) came up to me, gave me a little hug, and asked me to come back to see her. She had seen the condition of my nails, and instead of making me feel ashamed about them, she provided me with additional care while I was there and said she would like to help treat my issue when I come again. I highly value professionalism, but, even more so, I respect a person's ability to show empathy and kindness to those they may not realize need it the most. Thank you, QA staff, for all that you do. This is quite possibly the best experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I promise for my next visit to make an appointment and try not to keep you past closing time!
