I have known the folks at this office since the mid 1980s. I am not embarrassed to admit that I have used them for help dealing with grief after a significant loss. I have referred several individuals there and can report that they are delighted in the services received. I am particularly impressed with the broad array of skill sets offered. Dr. Paul Fallon is a Harvard graduate and a psychiatrist. He is easy to talk to and will take the time to answer any questions you have. He doesn't just fill you with drugs. He is genuinely interested in YOU as a person as well as a patient. I believe he works out of Exeter too but not sure of this. David McCue is a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is kind and like Dr.Fallon, has a great cache of skills yet is not arrogant but is warm and easy to talk to. He is good with couples, individuals and families. Dr. Fallon is in high demand but the last time I checked he took Medicare assignment and I believe many of the others do. If your marriage is on the rocks, or you just experienced a loss, try this group. They are NOT like many cold, distant providers who take your money and run. I wish that people would open up about this topic...people need to know about the highly skilled docs, social workers, etc.---they can save you or a loved one's life! Please try this office and I hope that your world changes as much as mine and the people I referred has. FYI, the psychiatrist I was seeing from Lifestance no longer works there (not sure, but I think he had some issues.) I quit going to him anyway. This is not how people should be treated who are seeking psychiatric care.

Dr. Schopick's the best psychiatrist I've ever had and I've been through several. He is caring and determined to find the right solution. There are a number of professionals working from this office and every single one of them, especially the two that I've worked with directly as well as the office admin are absolutely wonderful! From what I can tell, each of the staff members specialize in a few different areas of focus so that every need/issue is addressed. Being in my early 30's and not having gone to speak with someone since college, I did feel a bit apprehensive about calling to make my first appointment but once I heard the EXTREMELY sweet and pleasant voice on the other end of the line, it was as if it were meant to be. I've never felt more welcomed and comfortable! All the way down to the color of the walls and the soothing music in the living room-like waiting area... Just walking through the door gives the feeling of calm. It's unfortunate that there's such a stigma surrounding "going to a counselor", honestly, going to Woodland Professional Associates has been the most INTERESTING and thought provoking experience I've ever had! In the Seacost area we have a lot of people who think they are special and people need to cater to them. The only negative thing people complain about is the only day they do intake is Tuesday morning and it's first come first serve. Not a big deal. If you're close to running out of meds all you need to do is call in or email your therapist and they fill it with in hours. Again saw a person giving a bad review because they ran out of meds. If you took some responsibility for your own life that wouldn't happen. Js
