I have known the folks at this office since the mid 1980s. I am not embarrassed to admit that I have used them for help dealing with grief after a significant loss. I have referred several individuals there and can report that they are delighted in the services received. I am particularly impressed with the broad array of skill sets offered. Dr. Paul Fallon is a Harvard graduate and a psychiatrist. He is easy to talk to and will take the time to answer any questions you have. He doesn't just fill you with drugs. He is genuinely interested in YOU as a person as well as a patient. I believe he works out of Exeter too but not sure of this. David McCue is a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is kind and like Dr.Fallon, has a great cache of skills yet is not arrogant but is warm and easy to talk to. He is good with couples, individuals and families. Dr. Fallon is in high demand but the last time I checked he took Medicare assignment and I believe many of the others do. If your marriage is on the rocks, or you just experienced a loss, try this group. They are NOT like many cold, distant providers who take your money and run. I wish that people would open up about this topic...people need to know about the highly skilled docs, social workers, etc.---they can save you or a loved one's life! Seeking answers, I scheduled an appointment with Manchester Urology in Dover. After waiting two months, my consultation lasted roughly eight minutes. During that visit, I received a brief assessment, an ultrasound performed by a technician, a urine test, and a prescription for overactive bladder medication. I was told my bladder was empty and that the small amount of blood in my urine was not concerning for someone my age. Shortly after starting the medication, I experienced significant discomfort and pressure on both sides of my lower back, near my kidneys. When I called to report these symptoms, I expected guidance or an adjustment to the medication. Instead, I felt resistance, and I was told that if I chose to discontinue the medication, they would be unable to assist further. At that point, I decided to seek care elsewhere. The following month, during an appointment with a different provider, an ultrasound revealed Stage III B kidney cancer. This led to an emergency 5 1/2‑hour surgery at Dana-Farber in Boston involving a large surgical team. The pain, trauma, and emotional toll of that experience were unlike anything I had ever been through. Recovery has been extremely difficult, and the stress, anxiety, and depression that followed have been equally challenging for both me and my family. I place a great deal of trust in the medical system, and this experience has left me deeply disappointed. I understand that no system is perfect, but the lack of thoroughness and follow‑through contributed to a delayed diagnosis with life‑altering consequences. I now rely heavily on hope, on my current care team, and on the belief that things will continue to move in a better direction. At the same time, I remain cautious and skeptical, because empathy, attention to detail, and true patient-centered care are essential--and too often overlooked. Just trying to be honest here. This facility appears to be overworked and missed every possibility to assist me in my medical treatment without a focused exam.

He is also quite frank, which may be off-putting to some but is appreciated if you want the possibly grim truth about your condition without being given false hope. However, if you are coming to him as someone who has received a fatal diagnosis, as my family member did, you will find his services dwindle as the patient does. And what I mean by that is the distinct impression that he will not be making money off of the patient after a certain point and becomes hard to reach when the going gets tough. He seems to give plenty of attention when you are still healthy enough to keep paying, but if you are terminal he tries to milk it up front. As my family member declined, he pawned us off on his staff instead of giving the direct attention he did in the beginning. But if you can afford the high cost of his care and are not terminal it's probably worth trying him out.
