At $200 for a full detailing, I expected a lot and this place delivered. It was the first time I had my 5-year-old sedan detailed and they did a thorough job removing the salt stains on the carpets and various blemishes on the upholstery. The consoles and exterior were gleaming. My only problem was that I chose to do this in the middle of winter (rookie mistake) so my seats were wet for days. You really need a good amount of sun and warmth to dry the upholstery after a deep shampooing...two things in short supply in February in Toronto. I probably would not spend another $200 anytime soon...it's a lot, and the tip is extra. They have lighter touch, cheaper options that I might eventually try...it depends on how many Coffee Crisp crumbs I sit on over the next 5 years. read more

We had them wash the interior of our car. From what we can tell, they soaked it with soapy water -- and that was it. Our interior was soggy wet for weeks, despite days of trying to dry it with open doors and windows. In the well where our spare tire sits, there were inches of water. The whole car now smells like the chemical product in outhouses. Worst car wash ever. read more

When I drove away there were still dead bugs on the windshield, smears on the inside of the windshield and dirt patches on the doors and at the base of the back hatch. It took just over an hour and when we came to collect the car they even provided advice on how to air the car to ensure the carpets dried correctly, not to mention the complementary paper mats so that we didn't dirty our fresh floors. These folks did a great job on my car! I would highly reccomend them for service, speed, and cost. Can't go wrong! The shop is located on the danforth, in the stretch where there aren't too many shops. Customers enter through the back, and are given an estimated time to return. It's usually no more than an hour unless the shop is very, busy. If you're looking for extensive detailing, make an appointment online! When we arrived, they said that the job would take about an hour. This usually means two hours at most shops, but to our surprise, it was ready in 30 minutes! Pro-Tip: if you're looking for somewhere to kill time, go to the Ellery across the street. It's a hip restaurant with one of the best burgers I've ever had! Overall, this shop was great and my car looks great for a great price! Highly reccomend! read more

I can't say enough about these guys. Yesterday, my car was broken into again. Unfortunately, this happened to me almost a year ago, exactly, so I knew exactly what to do. I drove straight to Splish N Spalsh, and let the guys take care of everything for me. As a rep, I have a lot of stuff in my car, samples, marketing materials and so on. They were extremely accommodating, took everything out for me, cleaned the entire car to perfection, and put everything back. They weren't too busy when I arrived, so everything was done in record-breaking time. Really, really happy with their service, and hoping I won't have to go through this again! There is no reason not to come here. The service is super friendly and very helpful. They do a phenomenal job and when they gave me back my stuff, they gave it back to me in a clear plastic bag, vehemently protesting my suggestion to just dump it in the trunk. They told me it was so clean why get it dirty? They take pride in their job. My car looks and smells like I just got it from the dealer. This was a long winter with lots of salt stains but looking at my car you would think it never had any on it. They did not even give me grief for the salt stains. They just told me how much and I was happy to pay for it. So for about $100 I got a fantastic detailing job with no grief and no hassle. Having a clean and shiny car is addictive and this place enables me on this habit. There is no reason for you to go anywhere else. It is worth the trip to come here! I call it, a 'Spa Day for my Car.' When you have a million tasks to do and cleaning your car is on the list, take it to Splash N Shine. Jim, the owner, will greet you and explain how the pricing works. The entrance is in an alleyway, off of West Lynn Avenue. For $20, your car will be cleaned both inside and out. As you walk down the long narrow hallway, you can watch the hard working guys scrub, vacuum, wash your windows, clean the vents, and polish your door mats. Afterwards, the hand drying ensures that your car has a little boost of shine. The quality is exceptional, for a process that takes only 15 minutes. I admit it, this is a lazy person's method to reducing more cleaning, while freeing up more time on your weekend. To me, the time savings is worth every penny. As a warning, you may have to wait for a few cars in front of you, especially on nice days. read more

Not sure why the glowing reviews as after ~ $40 for the basic exterior/interior + tip we found they weren't detailed oriented enough (sand from camping trip still in passenger footwells, random bug/mud splatters missed on side doors from hasty washing/wiping). That said, I've definitely had worse and it's possible that you get a lot more when you get a couple steps up in service but we weren't ready to invest $200 on a shampoo without seeing the quality...and now don't plan to. read more

Great guys who work there. Really detail oriented. I was surprised at how clean my car was and it was only $20-ish dollars plus tip. I had driven back and forth to Niagara Region so front was covered in bugs - they got them all off. Interior is pretty good though I've had to ask them to clean up windows a bit more (I smoke). If you care about your car and its finish, if you're a car guy, stay away. Zero attention to detail. They used rough brushes on the car, swirling the paint. Only when asked did they use the microfiber sponge, too little, too late. While vacuuming the inside of your car they allow the vacuum hose to repeatedly rub back and forth on your paint...swirling the paint. They scratched the window tint film, ruining that film. After spraying your interior mats down, they return them to the car, still wet. Side view mirrors, not cleaned and not dried properly They simply don't care about your car. read more

Pretty good place for a hand car wash. I have a new Audi A3 and the only thing that made me a little nervous was the entrance which was on a huge incline and makes it difficult to wait in line and they also have a rail that pushes the cars through. Having very low profile tires there's a possibility for scratches on the left hand side rims. Also that incline, if you've got a standard car you might want to insist on driving the car in yourself to avoid burning out your clutch. So good for regular cars but wouldn't recommend it for premium cars because of that rail. Otherwise great service and did a great job. read more

I came here because my car was super dirty inside and out from the winter salt and wanted to find a decent place in the area. Surely enough this place is only 15 mins away in the danforth area. The service from the actual car wash to the cashier was exceptional from beginning to end. The rear tires on my Corvette are so wide and my car sits so low that it doesn't fit in conventional car wash tracks so I always get had washes. On a friends' recommendation, I purchased an interior cleaning package from Splash N Shine. The exterior of my car was done extremely well, but I was displeased with part of the interior service. I must admit, I was overly angry when I contacted them about the issue, but the manager that replied was calm and professional. He quickly worked out a day and time to correct the issue, and upon getting my car back, I was extremely satisfied with the results. They even re-cleaned the exterior of my car even though the issue was with the interior. You might ask "Why should I go there if they didn't do it perfectly the first time?" My answer is that it's become a rare thing to find a company that truly stands behind their work. Throughout my dealings with them, the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The fact that they were not only willing to take my complaint seriously, but to correct the issue in such a short period of time proved to me that they care about their customers. I went to the nearby library and they called me to come pick it up. Everything was shiny and clean and the inside of the car looked years younger (didn't pay to have them deal with the external rust).
