After your first in home visit, you're able to take your dogs to group classes which are held all over the city & suburbs. These classes are awesome for our reactive dogs - it gives them the exposure they need in a controlled environment. I have never been made to feel embarrassed or bad about my dog's behavior which I have experienced at other training organizations -- that is why we hired them! I really feel that I have a strong support system with Say It Once. While we (my fiancé & I) need to stay on top of training on our own, our dogs show so much progress each training sessions. She was AMAZING with our girl and got her to be a bit less difficult during her grooming appointments. Unfortunately, Alea isn't grooming anymore. During the time that Camp was without a groomer, we tried a different place and it didn't go well. Nova came home VERY upset and we weren't very happy with her groom either. Back to Camp we went to try the new groomer today. She was really great with our girl. She let us know about Nova's behavior (she is "bittier" than we knew while being brushed) but encouraged us to bring her more often so they can work together on overcoming her anxiousness and hatred of the brush. She kept saying "She is not a bad dog, I really like her! We can work through this!" While I always feel like a bad dog mom after knowing my girl wasn't on her best behavior, I was really happy with this experience overall. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for your quality groomers!!

I had specific questions about cat food and the first person I asked didn't know the answers, so instead of just brushing me off, they found an associate who was knowledgeable in the area. The second associate was able to answer my questions and wasn't pushy about selling me something I didn't need. On another visit, my animal loving daughter had a ton of questions about the various animals there and instead of brushing her off, the associates were enthusiastic and helpful to her. There were more cat items than I anticipated them having and prices were very reasonable. Aside from all the pet merchandise, they also host events and classes and owners often bring their pets with them to the store. Check out is efficient and well staffed. I've been getting him groomed a long time. I know what a freshly groomed face looks and smells like. Photos 1&2 show Petsmart 6/1/25. Third photo shows groomed in the past by another place. I expressed to the manager I was not happy with his face. He said grooming was not his expertise, therefore we went to speak with Suzy. She was condescending, as if I don't know that tear stains can't be removed easily, and as though that were the problem. He looked and smelled as if nothing was done to his face. Worst money I spent on a groom. Don't use them for the manager's response and a groomer that looks as if she hates her job and the customers. Bye Suzy H.! Update...customer service is just as bad. They promise to get back to you in 48 hours and never did. I guess that's why the groomers and managers are as bad as they are. I will spend my money else where. Sorry my dog had to endure this. My family was on the verge of getting rid of her even though we love her so much. Alisha was calm, walked me through the steps I needed to take to retrain her, answered a ton of questions and never asked for a dime. She was so incredibly helpful and she gave me hope that I can get my dog back on track! Because of this spectacular service I asked her if she would be willing to do some one-on-one training with my dog. We meet this Sunday and I am excited to see what else she can help us with. Her individual rates are fantastic as well. Personally, I think she should charge more, but am definitely not complaining. The only bummer is that she may be moving soon because her husband is in the military. I'm going to take advantage of her services while she is still in town. I have someone sitting with him at home so I can get this cone and get back to work. After searching the store I find one section with a terribly limited selection. Awful hard things for an average of $40. I check online and of course, they are $14.99 there. What? The only one that they have in his size is scuffed up on the clear plastic part, and looks like it has been used, but here I am, having an emergency, or I need some thing fast. I wait in line and when I get to the counter, the girl kindly tells me they can only take cash right now. Please, tell me, you're joking, I think. Who is running this place? This is something I should've known upon entering the store. A sign on the door? At this point, I am beyond frustrated and almost in tears, when the cashier points outside and says "I think there's an atm over there somewhere?" This is unacceptable on so many levels. I was already settling for a lackluster product at inflated in-store prices... and you can't even take my credit card. It's 2023. Shame on you, Petco. She was able to quickly identify the things we were doing that were not working and teach us how to better communicate to our dog. Our beagle also had a lot of aggression with towards other dogs, so we thought. Kate arranged one of our sessions at her friend's house so that her friend and her large German Shepard could stand outside while we worked with our beagle's reaction. Kate immediately saw that our beagle was actually very fearful of the other dog and that what was causing his reaction. Within fifteen minutes we were walking down the street side by side with the German Shepard and its owner without my beagle flipping out! Kate offers sessions in the client's home at a reasonable price. You can pay per session or buy multiple sessions for a discount. As owners of a stubborn, yet oh so cute, beagle, we found our five sessions with Kate to be extremely valuable. We will use what we learned everyday of our lives as dog owners.
