Having a white car is both a blessing and a curse - it looks amazing when clean but shows every speck of dirt after just one drive. As someone who's been to countless self-service car washes around town, Splash Zone is the best self-service wash I've found! Each option here gives you way more product than most places - plenty of soap, foam, rinse time, and the vacuums are powerful enough to tackle any mess. I heard they're under new ownership, and it shows. The place is spotless, the equipment is in top shape, and you can tell the owner is putting in a lot of work. Highly recommend if you want your car looking fresh!

Clean, equipment is good condition, and reasonable price. Great way to save money by doing it yourself.

Great experience. Finally, a car wash where everything I tried actually worked. Staff was helpful and my car looks great.

This location is located at the same exit as Cattlemen's and Wal-Mart-it's on the Cattlemen's side of the street. My wife and I have been a members for many years-something about just having a clean car is just great and Quick Quack is so convenient-they are everywhere and with the kiddos all moved away, there went my "free" labor when it came to getting my car washed-so we joined Quick Quack on one of their promos at like the Kings game or something and after the trial we kinda liked it-so we kept it-flash forward a few years now and we still have it-we each go about 2x a month-which is pretty much right on the cusp for validating the monthly cost-but it's not a great value at the rate we go-not sure we will keep it forever but it has been a purchase I have been ok with for the most part. Quick Quack charges $24.99 for my car and $22.00 for the 2nd car aka flock,so it ends up at $46.99-we are at the lowest rung of membership, which they call their "Good" membership,I had the higher levels before but unless u go way more often monthly,it's hard to justify the cost when you just want a shiny clean car. They do offer free vacuum services with each wash and that's pretty cool-my wife takes full advantage of that every time she washes her car but I'm a bit too lazy,no just busy, yeah that's the word I'm looking for-I'm always too busy to take advantage of the vacuum services,so I don't get to take advantage of that included value with their washes-I really should make the time to do that. I guess the thing I like the most is that if timed correctly, late dusk or early mornings or maybe a quiet location,I can get in n out of my car wash in under 5 minutes and it feels productive-hard to put a price on that feeling-though I guess Quick Quack does at $24.99 a month, but I digress-I love my membership for the convenience, even if it's not the best deal in the world, convenience is a 10/10. I don't know if I will keep my membership forever but with spring coming up and more outside activities naturally happening,I'm sure I will make sure I use this membership a bit more to make sure my car is always sparking and clean and I can say that this location in Dixon was lightning fast and super convenient-What more can you ask for? PS-I feel they used to give free inside wet-cloth with every wash-I haven't gotten one of those in a while-must've been a policy change.

My experience is that the touch-less washes work very well at first when a new car wash is trying to impress customers with how well it works without any brushes touching the car; then as time goes along, they seem to cut back on the chemicals and the touch-less feature leaves the car dirty because they are saving money by skimping on chemicals. (A good--bad!--example of this is the car wash only a stone's throw west from this Quick Quack.) There is no shortage of colorful chemicals at Quick Quack. So much suds are used that it's very difficult to see anything outside the car as you are being pushed through. It's almost a psychedelic experience with various colors of suds and a light show. It's partially my fault, but the aggressive rotating brush action on my car bent the radio antenna. I was able to straighten it up in the parking lot, but I think the "greeter" was so focused on selling me a month of unlimited washes that he failed to see the potential problem with an old school antenna. With the aggressive brush action, my car did get fairly clean. My advice is to go to either a self-serve wash that uses a pressure washer that you operate yourself or go to a true touch-less car wash that uses an appropriate amount of chemicals.

These services were not completed--the cargo and other areas still had debris, and the door jambs and other areas were not wiped. When I asked for clarification, I received conflicting answers. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager, Leo, escalated the situation by making derogatory and unprofessional comments, repeatedly calling the vehicle "disgusting" in front of others. It is noted I never asked to speak to a manager but he involved himself and immediately escalated the incident. For context, this is my 83-year-old mother's car (she has dementia/my dad died), and I brought it in to begin cleaning it after it had been sitting at her house for awhile. A competent manager would have approached this respectfully--or used it as an opportunity to recommend additional services--not demean a customer especially in the presence of other employees and customers. The situation became more concerning when he threatened to call the police simply because I asked for contact information to file a complaint. As a multi-racial/African American woman, that escalation felt unnecessary and like an intimidation tactic under the circumstances. There was no crime and I had a legitimate reason to be there. Then disturbance was the manager's behavior. Other staff handled the situation professionally once involved, which shows the issue was not operational--but managerial. I attempted to resolve this directly by emailing the owner first but received no response. Based on other reviews noting similar experiences, this appears to be a pattern.

I immediately pulled my vehicle forward, took photos and spoke to the other driver and the general manager. My car was in neutral the entire time in the wash tunnel and so was the red Tesla directly behind me. I was told they would review the camera footage and do a thorough investigation. A short time later I was told they would not assume any liability...... and because my vehicle's lights (on auto setting) went on and off.....they were not responsible. The lights (tail lights and headlights) went on automatically in the tunnel and then turned off as the vehicle exited into the daylight/sunlight. At no time did my brake lights come on, nor was my vehicle taken out of neutral inside the wash tunnel. These lights having nothing to do with the movement or operation of my vehicle. The GM kept telling me it must have been a "sensor" on my car and neglected to explain how it is that the car behind me was able to hit my vehicle without any safeguards in place or ways to prevent this from happening in the first place. The fact is that when your car is in neutral..........the car wash assembly/track is in control of your vehicle and in control of what happens in that tunnel as long as your vehicle is on the track. I've been to the Fairfield location over 80 times with no issues whatsoever. I would stay as far away from this location as you can. I will be pursuing this through appropriate legal channels and will not stop until it is made correct. I'm still in disbelief on how poorly I was treated. I was given a number to call and they said they couldn't do anything to help me nor could they notify the area manager. The phone number and call were a complete waste of time and energy. An investigation had been started by my insurance company. The estimate to fix the damage is approx. $1100.00. Update: When my insurance company contacted Eric Graham (GM), he stated they didn't have any video.... Only screen shots. When I first talked to Eric Graham he told me they would keep the video and that they even had all the video from 2 years prior. Now he's lying and changing his statement. Small claims court here I come! I will not be taken advantage of. The carwash GM never provided photos or video to either insurance company. My insurance (USAA) and the other involved vehicle (AAA) determined the car wash was 100% at fault for this incident. Retired Police Sergeant
